Liricyst on the other hand is a suspicious cat. Against obesemf he seemed to stretch his verse a little maybe out of fear...but that's nuce not estimating anyone.

Hahaha, I just read it, you are absolutely correct... But I think it's a tactic, since y'all judge based on catas and not bar for bar, he conceals his weakest bar inside the verse and still makes his opener and closer tight cos they are part of the catas... He's a smart cat I'll give him that

this is the best match-up i have seen here this year & i must say i was highly impressed that newbies could really come up with such an amazing pen game.

i would have called for a re-match if it's possible but since a winner must emerge, my vote goes to liricyst by the tiniest of margin. rhyming is the foundation of rapping as far as i am concerned - i am always on the same side of the perfect rhymer.

liricyst won me over with his rhyme pattern & rhyme scheme. obese had the better scheme & the dopest angle though - if obese can polish his rhyme scheme better then he would be a monster.

his closer was the bomb. nuccas are quoting his arsënal bar as the dopešt when he literally killed the closer by taking us back to primary school arithmetic - the formula for simple interest.

it's a shame the bar even flew over ibime's head & he claims to be a math guru.

Bro, I doubt Obese's last bar went over anyone's head... The whole simple interest scheme was nice as with most of the other bars in the verse... It's just preference as to what you enjoyed more

I think Obe did his thing, although that's his first battle in Reading but it could easily have gone either ways, sometimes you just choose the wrong angle... It's all judges' prefence really, personally I prefer bars over jokes but humour is still a judging cata in most international battle groups, so like I said, it's all relative, they both came hard

Okay, I know my judgement might not count but Amma have my say anyways (Mikuz I used to have a title on Insignia, you should know what that means)

Bar 4 Bar... This was a really close battle, both mcs impressed me with their pen game but truthfully.. Bar 3 is the only bar I have #Obese edging cos #Lyricist came weaker in that bar.. Other bars were close and we're either ties or slightly edged to #Lyricist... Cata breakdown would have them almost on tie but Issorta preferred Lyricist set ups leading up to the punch
