I think this combination is a no-brainer. It represents the best chance the ADC has to put up a formidable challenge to Tinubu. But outside the loyalist following Kwankwaso has in his kwankwasiya movement in Kano, where else does he hold weight? Kwankwaso has run for president before and was only able to win one state.

Obi will perform strongly in the middle belt like he did previously. Barring rigging, some South-South states will vote for him too. I am deliberately ignoring any potential votes from the South-East because Igbos did not come out and vote for Obi in 2023. Obi got more votes in the North central than he got in Igboland. He lost his own polling unit to Tinubu. Will the same still play out?

I think the core north will still majorly vote for Tinubu. The South West too. The election will be close but Tinubu will still win. I hate the man but I don't see him losing.
