I had thesame experience in my former office somtime ago in Abuja,that led to my exit from that company(eatry/fastfood). A client made a down payment of 300k for an order he placed for a ceremony. This very guy I always allow into my office because I always send him on erand and I so much like him Sneak into my office,Locate where I kept my drawer's key and removed the entire Money! I relaxed hoping hiden camera will eventualy disclose the thief,to my suprise when the the CCTV camera was played back! This guy was seen wearing "BIN BAG" to cover his head! Holy mary. I was suspended indefinitely because I wasn't supose to acept money from a client in the 1st place,it is the responsiblity of the acount officer,but my effort to explain to the management that I was the one who introdeced the client to the company and the acount offficer were not on sit at the time the client's visit fell into deaf ear. Anyway I acepted my fate! The whole truth came out when the said my erand guy bought a car few weeks after the incident,a source close to him informed me.that time I started reasoning the Bin bag guy was the thief. I went to Police station and narated my story,infact Police realy tried for me as they arrest the suspect and detain him,impounded the car while he later confess.the company management sent me a lot of apology leters asking me to return to work but I refuse because I'v started aCar higher bussiness which fetch me money than 45K/month the company were paying me even without trust. But I still thank God the thief was arrested.
