TravelTo Nigerians In Diaspora by Ifecotag(op): 10:45am On Apr 01, 2011
I mean no offense to anyone out there. But after my adventure to some countries and coming across Nigerians(educated and uneducated) there including those that have lived there for years.

Why is it that some Nigerians are very insensitive and ignorant to the environment,people and culture they find themselves in? Must you work tooth and nail and sacrifice your dignity, badmouth your home land and Africa as whole to be accepted by westerners who will always look down on you one way or the other?

How about using our skills and knowledge we acquired wherever to develop our homeland and Africa where people see you as the same?

Please I would like some honest answers from Nairalanders. No calling of names. Highly analytic approach to this thread would be very appreciated.

Peace out.

@Tipiah

If you don't already know. Nairaland was created with the idea of people coming to ask questions and seeking advice on variety of issues.

It definitely wasn't created with condescending people like you in mind.

Thank you guys for you time and advice. I really appreciate it a lot.

@Sklinks:

I just came back from Abuja. On reaching the Nigerian Immigration Service Headquarters, they directed us to the comptroller passport office but he said, he doesn't give it out individually. That we should consult the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja where the passports will be handed over.

Could you please tell me the particular office where to find my details on their database. Have they done the passports already? Because they told us that it should be ready by end of this month. Do you have someone at the Immigration service that may be of any help? Sorry for bothering you and I would really be grateful for your help and kind advice.

Hello Nairalanders,

We did E-passport at the Nigerian Embassy in Egypt when the immigration officials came from Nigeria to collect applications. However, it wasn't ready yet before the political crisis erupted in Egypt and many Nigerian citizens had to be evacuated. Me being one of them would like to know from experienced people on here, where I can go and pick up my E-passport in Nigeria? I have already paid for it. Your kind and honest response is highly appreciated.

Peace out.
