Almost everyone on this thread has tweaked and rooted their Xiaomi phones. Why is that? Can't the phone operate well in it's Factory made mode?

Today while charging my phone with original (follow-come) Mi- quick charger, the phone started connecting and disconnecting continuously. When i checked the charger i notice a pungent (smelt burnt) oily liquid on its side!! The charger is always connected to my UPS for fear of power fluctuations... has anyone experienced this? This thing is not even up to 2months old and i still have my 3yrs old sony charger and almost 5yrs old HTC charger. Too bad they arent fast chargers.
Now i am in the lookout for original Quickcharger. Ordinary chargers takes ages to charge a phone with 5000mah battery. Dm me, can arrange original mi charger for u, quick charge |

I am a Nokia fan and have been since the days of 3310. I recently lost my Lumia 630. I do just emails, other simple tasks - calls, whatsapp. Not into gaming. Pictures? well just for project reporting basically. So now I want to replace and I am really torn on which to pick. My budget is not more than N32k. The issue is I want a phone that is not large like 6" screen, that does not lag, that does not heat up on use (very important- I no want pressing iron  ), decent speed with multitasking, has a compass (I like this feature alot ), that runs apps like whatsapp, gmails, yahoo mails, other basic simple apps smoothly, good call clarity and overall phone with good classic looks. Hope I have not ask for too much. So please which Nokia phone is my best bet? Your best Nokia phone is x5 but u gat to up ur budget |
