Gptech:
Very valid points. I know how much I lost then, because of the shady return policy from Jumia. An item will be rejected just because of a little sticker you removed from your item. When you get a refund, they don't refund shipping fee, so you are already at a loss. They sell already rejected (faulty) items to the next available customer (have experience this twice, happened to a friend last week, purchased a faulty LEeco le 2),and the list goes on. Truth is you can get good deals from Jumia sometimes, but they have a lot of work to do. Should I add that you are sure of the originality of items with Aliexpress compared to Jumia. When I see many electronic items like tvs, gas cookers, pressing irons, etc on Jumia, I just smh.

Well if you aren't sure of the originality in jumia then I guess u need me asap... As for returns... Na full refund complete to the letter t.. Anyway sha, just use me and see... ... Baba ... Use me... Don't quote me o, my boo is here o...

PaulThor:
.
I already ordered from aliexpress at 56k. Maybe next time. I buy lots of phones for people.

No wahala bro, anytime,...

GrandMufti:
Is this global version? I can't find where it's stated

100%...shey na me dey do bookings... .

genius43:
Bros it's just smile and MTN's second LTE band that's all.

As e take pass am na so e take pass am... some ppl without glo lte is deal breaker... Different stroke, different folks.

PaulThor:
.
Lol boss.. I know.
.
That is why we have experts in here. We learn from their experience and pray for the best. I have ordered products esp phone chargers that end up being trash by jumia. I ordered my mi max 2 last year that ended up having a global developer rom disguised as global version.
.
Look at jumia black friday
.
Before black Friday let's say:
Redmi 5plus 65k once 100k
.
Black Friday sales
Redmi 5plus 72k once 155k
.
Which kind lie be that na? The one lie Mohammed dey tell never do?
.
All I'm saying is risks are everywhere not just with aliexpress..
.
But you be my boss forever Sha..

And this is global version... Just saying that ur 72k seems like ur not using the app well, you can always contact me wenever u want to shop on jumia..
Check my signature

noobody:
And which lte band dat is important doesnt the note 5 global rom support?

Mtn,airtel,ntel,etisalat,??

Any?

None major to me o, but others may have need for them... We both know the global version has more lte than the global ROM,...

henry007:
What ROM did the phone ship with? Was it a one chance thing from Aliexpress or you knew?

It was supposed to be global rom o, at least dats wat seller told me, oya update na, for wer, i come say make i try manual update, na so phone brick, spent nothing less than 7k trying to fix it, not talking about the risk and hours spent on the road just to fix the phone... Ended up with Chinese rom make man for no loss... At all at all na bad pass..

noobody:
What if it is installed right from.the seller shop, and its the real rom?whats the diff btwn it nd the global version rom?

Any diff??

Nothing that I know of aside lte bands in the case of the redmi note 5.

noobody:
So what exactly is the diffrence once original global rom has bin installed?

I for know wat I suffered in the name of installing global rom... Just saying sha.

PaulThor:
.
Let's not do the blind argument. A picture is worth a thousand words

Hope u know one is global rom and the other is global version... Just saying sha, no quote me o... I'm having serious discussions with my wifey...
And i do also know that alot of times its cheaper on aliexpress... And also sometimes, aliexpress dey get caveat... With jumia, it's always safe, nothing like custom or vendor rom, some ppl don't mind that... At the end, na ur money dey speak...

genius43:
My Redmi Note 5 is still blazing bro

... But incase any other thing or u know anybody wey wan order from jumia, like refrigerator or ac, u know say we dey our small black Friday, u fit just refer dem my way...

traecey:
okay thanks for clarifying.... Keep up the good work

Ur welcome, but incase anyone wan order for jumia.. U can check my signature. ... E get the way we dey run am.

traecey:
that's the 3gb variant and I'm not sure it's global version, a friend got 5+ black 4/64gb global rom at 53k during their Halloween promo stuff (shipping included)

Well if ur not sure, then permit me to say it's confirm for u, it's global version. And I'm sure you know global version is more expensive, even in aliexpress... Just saying sha... Don't quote me o, I'm not feeling fine...

genius43:
Don't buy a 6pro with a vendor ROM(i.e anyone that says multi language) cos there is no official global ROM for the Redmi 6 Pro otherwise your phone will get bricked while trying to upgrade, instead ask the seller for the unsealed box which comes with the Chinese Rom and you get a hitch free experience

I have official global version ... U need, lemme know
