OneKinGuy:
U mean Redmi note 5. Cos no way am getting 5 plus. Heard lots of negative reviews from it. I currently use cornify app to curve my note 4x screen. So a notch screen will serve me better

Cornify app to curve ur screen....
That's a new one... Well just to correct that mirage, an apo can't curve a screen and therefore I still don't understand the desire for notch... However u may right on negative reviews, but from all I've sold, not even one negative report... Most ppl simply don't know how to use their phone optimally and are quick to report negative review wen faced with a challenge... The 5 plus is simply a revamped 4x. The note 5 is the real upgrade.

You must have forgotten this account that quickly. I'm the one who bought a Redmi Note 5 with a image retention issue from jumia via you. The only meaningful solution I've discovered to that problem only works properly after rooting

I really don't know the nairaland handles. No vex. Well any luck with unlocking it

ladiesreject:
The problem is trust issues.
I contacted some sellers on this thread so that I can buy from them, when I asked how I'll get the phone, they said the money should be transferred to their accounts before they send the package. Ideally, that's how it should be done, but I'll never ever send money to someone I don't know, especially a Nigerian. 9ja people, we too bad. At the end, I had to place an Aliexpress order myself cos I knew what it took me to get that money and I'm not ready to risk it for anything.

Payment on delivery dey is an option bro. I never mentioned that u must send me the money o.

sureteeboy:
Please guys, anyone with a response to this?

Why do you want to unlock your bootloader in the first place

Nltaliban:

I like the screen notch which a 2 doesn't have. A2 is much bigger which I don't like. A2 doesn't have earphone jack. A2 lite has bigger battery. a2 lite is budget friendly

Only notch is a valid reason, all other reason is same redmi 5 plus.... But why do u like notch...

FHD+ Samoled display
4000mah
Mid-range processor (preferably sd660)
Good cameras
3.5mm jack

Budget is 70k.

The amount of people who think xiaomi are a charity organization though, so you guys are clamoring for Samoled display for a sub 80k device price point. lollllllllll.

boss...I'm also on dis update but battery life is poor

Which network, 3g or 4g

NoDulling4here:
Sounds good but will be difficult to enforce or track. Like how do you know how many ads a person has posted in a day. You would have to be flipping pages to check

Let me adjust my suggestion :

Each verified tout gets a page ending with their chosen number where they can post a full ad. Aside from that, they can post links to their ad on any page or better still put the link on their signature.

I think this is a simple rule adapt... I believe we are adults here. However as to enforce it, it's same way we we've been keeping one ad per page.

NoDulling4here:
You mean on their page as it were?

I think one ad on a page is okay.

For the whole day, 3 ads each tout maximum as on this thread. One ad a thread, and each tout has 3 ads to post per day. And each tout can't post on two threads simultaneously, like 3004, 3005...so u post on 3004, wait for 3006 to post again.
Wat say u

NoDulling4here:
Here is what I suggest :

Macbeyland got this page which ends in 4

Every other tout should choose a number between 1 to 9 excluding number 4 which is already taken.

When the page ends with your number, you post your ad. I think we have less than 10 touts here.

Defaulters should be called out by the masses. Persistent Defaulters might get a suspension from Nairaland mods

Oya noobody, Protein0, Holuwaxheun, et al, pick your numbers if you all agree with this method.

Can suggest a better solution or tweak this if necessary.

My two ✌️ shillings.

One 1⃣ love.

No one should get more than 3 advert posts a day.

spartacus11:
Mi 5 or 5x i think and he bought from jumia too

Was he d guy we told not to get the mi 5.

Good morning house. I want to get a xiaomi phone. Can anyone suggest the one I should go for?

Touts oooo, make una dey listen na..

E b like i go dey flog una now oooo

... Tot i was the only one who noticed
But you've been guilty once sha....
Though i think we should try a better rule, leaving or source of income to try ur luck, who first come stuff is somehow... But maybe we can deliberate and arrange on something more purposeful instead on try ur luck stuff.
My two kobo. ✌️

ameri9ja:
Not to burst your bubble, but if you Google "where is iPhone made?" China pops up. Lol.

Explain why it's the best phone maker?
Also China makes iPhone.

ameri9ja:
Who would buy such AND turn it on when just going for a ride (with an iphone conveniently on the dash to be recorded when it explodes)

Oga.... Stop it. It's normal. Even the recent fuel tanker explosion, a car in Nigeria had it and the owner took excerpt of the video moments before the explosion. It's always on, u can choose to upload excerpts from the videos.
