I want to join the xiaomites

Who can tell me what to expect?
I've been coming across some terms like twrp, global update, global version Rom, Chinese version Rom, and so many other technical terms.

Who can just take his or her time and run me through what I should expect or how to get the best of my device? Cos am just few steps away from placing an order.
I don't want to regret later.

Before you place that order, abeg check my signature... Note 5 and redmi 5 plus dey readily available... Payment on delivery sef.

I've been following the Xiaomi phone thread for a while now and I have come to notice that nobody has talked about the Xiaomi S2 with a dual cam and AI portrait function( which i think is equivalent to gcam function). Also having almost all the features and performances of Redmi 5 Plus. Infact it runs on an updated Android 8.1 and muiu 9.6. And most importantly Cheaper in Price.

The winner takes it all
