This is actually very poor. So in a year just about 800billion not even up to $1billion. And thats for 20million residents. Very poor!! Not enough to do much. Atleast should be around $20 billion |
I am curious to know the billionaires we had during this period (around 1997 - 2005). We only ever hear of Dangote and Abiola, but there was a period were these men weren't the richest. If possible and also their estimated self worth at the time. |
Read carefully, they said the contractors have been paid. The sweepers should meet the contractors not lawma. |

Dear OP, I was deeply moved by your story. To me the greatest thing of all is Peace of mind and I don’t think you have it over there, life of a fugitive. What is the point of living like that, a life full of fear and uncertainty especially for the kids. If you were living alone I’d say stay and take a chance over there. You are still very young I don’t want you running around in circles for years and nothing to show for it. Before you know it you’re 40 and still in this mess. Nigeria is bad but not as bad as people say. I’m 26 finished school a few years ago and now I’m doing relatively well. My family wasn’t rich but little by little we got by and now I’m here. I think you should come back but first save at least 5million. When you get back buy a land around Lagos for like 2-2.5M, the plan is to keep it for about 10years. Use say 1-1.5M to open a superstore. This should be able to make you around 80K a month give or take. With this you can sustain yourself and your kids since you won’t be paying rent. As time goes on you’ll be able to make extra money doing other things. In 10years or more that land would be worth at least 10M and you’ll be able to send your child to school abroad preferably Canada for a more better chance to make it. Here you have all the support and love from family. Living in America as an illegal alien with kids is just pretty messed up to me. |
