To me NOI was one of the shining lights in this useless outgoing administration. She did well in keeping the economic free fall in check during the recent drop in oil prices.
People are blindfolded because she is associated with the current administration but if you could remembered she was praised during OBJ ERA.

My bro please show respect to the current administration, you are using a foul language (useless).

Well, if you ask me, based on what is on ground, with threats of jobs losses and huge fall in the value of our currency with the attendant rise in the cost of doing business especially as regards imports, I don't see how her handling is worth any commendation. Besides that, if she must be commended, I think it should be viewed from the backdrop of her stewardship from day one; abysmal if one must be honest.

Although a new government will be sworn in next month, the role of the outgoing Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala in the effective management of the Nigerian economy, in a trying period like this, to the admiration of the International Monetary Fund, cannot be overlooked, reports Festus Akanbi

For Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who doubles as the Co-ordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, the recently concluded World Bank/International Monetary Fund Spring Meeting in Washington DC, United States of America might be the last public outing before the President Goodluck Jonathan administration finally winds up its activities to pave way for the incoming administration of General Muhammadu Buhari on May 29.

However, the symbolism of the World Bank/IMF meeting was underscored by a vote of confidence passed by the IMF on the efficient management of the ongoing oil price crisis by the outgoing administration in Nigeria.

Responding to a question at the IMF/World Bank Spring meetings, a fortnight ago, the IMF Managing Director, Christine Lagarde, had commended Nigeria's strategic response to the oil price slide.

According to her, as one of the seven oil-producing nations in the African region affected by the revenue loss, Nigeria's response was commendable.

Seventy per cent of Nigeria's revenue is derived from the sale of crude petroleum products, and since the middle of last year, the country and other Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) have suffered over 50 per cent loss revenue. The Leadership

As the minister driving the economy in these trying times, Okonjo-Iweala had spearheaded the roll out of a cocktail of belt-tightening measures aimed at minimising the vulnerability arising from the attendant revenue losses from oil exports.

They should stop this Nobel Laurel/Statesmanship nonsense. Its becoming irritating and unfashionable. What's so special in losing and congratulating the winner? Sportsmen do it everyday, millions of people around the world do it in their everyday lives. What would he have done? If he didn't congratulate the winner, it won't still stop the Winner from been the winner. He tried by calling buharı, it was kodak moment and we appreciated it . However it shouldn't be flogged further hence it loses its value.
I don't think you are conversant with Africa politics.

Appleyard:
i knew what i saw, and had it been i had a video camera with me back then, it would have been wonderful, especially regarding the second incident.

But if you think not having a video to back up a claim of UFO sighting is ground for dismissing or doubting such claims in its entirety, then brother, i must say you need to wake up, for you are probably living in self denial.
Even with a video evidence in some instances, some people are still finding it difficult to believe.

Yes, i understand where you are going, but if only you should first understand (not just according to the dictionary) what or who is an alien, then you would be better off understanding that we are not alone.

Simply put, any activity, likeness, appearance or omission, conduct or behaviour that defies, exceeded or transcend the scope of human nature-ability and understanding, is ALIENIC! That is, anything that goes contrary or is not within the actual periphery of mankind behavioural tendecy, is of an alien nature.

Tell me for instance, have'nt you been to say a church where during a particular service and prayers are offered, you see some people
manifesting? Some twisting on the ground like snakes, some like fish, etc, etc? Now, are such behaviours or acts normal with human beings? The answer is an emphatic NO! Then what is causing such people to behave strangely like that? Or is it just a moment of madness? No! Its simple. There is another being in such a person, and that being is trying to manifest or project its powers or capabilities using that person as a medium or channel, until now being confronted by an opposing power or capability which is also Alienic, in another human medium or channel, say a pastor.

Now, what i just explained above is only just a part of the Alienic nature and activities as it relate to mankind. The concept of Aliens is a complicated and tedious issue to discourse and fully understand. They come in different forms, different shapes, encountered under different circumstances and backgrounds, and so, understanding differs from place to place, in view, in knowledge and in perception.

But the outstanding fact is that WE ARE NEVER ALONE!
Still don't buy this.

All the same bro we learned everyday. Thanks for your information and.......

I hope you understand my view to this.

Tinubu's only ace in this new arrangement is to control the house to check Buhari.

Once this new govt is sworn in, we will see strange faces close to Buhari and they won't be Tinubu's men but that of Buhari's from the core north.

Tinubu is hoping on Akume a fellow drunk. But Akume lacks the carriage and clouth and being a Benue and Christian I don't see how he can control the northern muslims who will be staunch and blind Buhari supporters. David Mark's military background and air of consensus gave him the much deserved support and authority from the Senate.

The northerners are vieing for Saraki who they see as more or less a northerner like themselves with little or no links with Tinubu. Tinubu on the other hand sees Saraki as becoming too powerful and politically relevant given his links to both the north, middle belt and southwest.

Tinubu being a very cunning and smart man knows the only 2 politically relevant offices to emerge come may 29 is that of the President and Senate President. As things stand now, the only thing Tinubu has is the ceremonial slot of VP currently occupied by his manservant puppet, Osinbanjo.

Tinubu no go gree oh
Love this Tinubu think he is smart.
