The so called international community bodies that are only calling for cancellation of election in Rivers and Akwa Ibom state should go and hide their heads in shame.
I guess is the APC media consultant that is pulling this right? I guess they are interested in OIL MONEY? so APC must control Rivers state?
This so called international community bodies should be ashamed of themselves when kids before their very own eyes came out to vote in the streets of kano and kaduna yet they refused to call for cancellation in the north or have they not notice the massive rigging going on in imo state or the killings that is going on in Gombe as we speak. How about lagos yesterday? Na only rivers dem go see
Well let me bring to the notice of you all, the winning of saturday has nothing to do with Mr Wike as a candidate. It is a protest vote towards Gov Ameachi's betrayal, So if you like conduct elections 20 times with or without wike. PDP will win that state.
Dakuku peterside is a good man and Rivers people love him so much but sorry for him that he found himself in the wrong party at the wrong time. APC will never last in the Niger Delta or south east even if they like they should control 30state for now. The people of niger delta and south east will never support them. Let Adams finish his term than u will see how Edo people will reject APC too. Mtchewwwww.

To be a single parent is not a go area for most people. It carries responsibilities which to be partners but on one shoulder.
The societies are not helping matters as it relate to single parent.

Please bear with me, I am not good at

S.P denote SINGLE PARENT

Here are list of lies most single parent don't want the world to see or hear

1.I Can Take Care Of My Children Alone
Most of the kids of single parent that are care for around, you will notice something about them. They all very close to their GRANDPARENT more than their parent or not . But when you ask a single parent how are the kids faring? S.P reply "they are fine". Thinking S.P is at work not knowing it external is behind the effort.Women folks claim this often

2.I Am Comfortable Been Like this (BEEN SINGLE)
Anyway my GOD is merciful Father, imaging if it to swear in front of ORACLE to say the TRUTH if not death. I am very sure the DEVIL will be very SHOCK of been over taken in lie if was a CONTEST.
But you becomes FRIENDLY(NICE,RESPECTFUL etc.) to the OPPOSITE SEX all of a sudden. You go to every occasions to with the best of wear to ADVERTISE yourself. Let your friend, family member ,colleague etc the ring on your LEFT finger has DISAPPEAR.

3.FRIENDLY(NICE,RESPECTFUL etc.)
It has to come by fire by force so as to CATCH THE NEXT PRAY.To the opposite sex please be watchful, find out about their past(not century ago abeg).

4.Responsibility Burden
Most S.P will let you know that taking care of their needs is not a problem
Story if i hear, please don't fall for that.
In their mind "Do You Know What I Am Passing Through ,if you know YOU will WISH never to have kid without your partner not to live you . Be it DEAD OR ALIVE".

5. SEX
This one is annoying in fact the t.......w...g...s....... Hmmm mak I liv am lik dat.
YOU will hear something like I can go a 2 decade without Sex.
But ALHAJI, CHIEF,SENATOR,SEU.......or LISA,JENNY,ISHIL....... is what comes out from their MOUTH the MOST DURING PHONE CALL. This no longer the time YOU WILL HEAR HONEY "I WAS ARRESTED AT NO5 ALLEN AVENUE BY 3 FEMALE POLICE OFFICERS. Now S.R has the freedom

crackhaus:
Actually, what modern feminists and pseudo-feminists alike are doing is riding on the successes of their forerunners.

First-wave and early second-wave feminism have just about succeeded in it's goal, but that's just about it.

Modern feminism is already a failed movement if it can not introduce anything substantial and economically/socially significant.
All I keep seeing/hearing them fight for is;
- how to go bare-breasted because men can,
- how to have sex with countless men and not be called who.res,
-how to earn the same as men in the same professional category (forgetting that men don't get maternity leaves and are on average more productive),
- how to increase the number of house-husbands so they can assume authority,
- how to sing and chant 'who runs the world? Girls!' while dressing half-naked and objectifying themselves in the process etc. etc.

The things that modern feminism seems to be interested in are purely vain and self-actualizing rather than economically sound.
I don't see how achieving any of the few things I listed above makes the world a better place...at best, those are just selfish desires.

I and a lot of other people will take modern feminism serious the day they venture into the middle-east and some other countries to liberate the women there whose rights are being taken for granted, instead of staying put in the western countries that already see them as equals while shouting and screaming equality for all women-folk.
They don't support themselves.

Good point Bro.

HealthSurvey Nearly 9 In 10 US Adults Now Have Health Insurance by ifyan(op): 12:54pm On Apr 13, 2015
Underlining a change across the nation, nearly 9 out of 10 adults now say they have health insurance, according to an extensive survey released Monday.

As recently as 2013, slightly more than 8 out of 10 had coverage.

Whether the new number from the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index turns out to be a high-water mark for President Barack Obama's health care law, or a milestone on the path toward his goal of getting virtually all U.S. residents covered, remains to be seen.

The law's future is still up in the air, and will turn on factors ranging from an upcoming Supreme Court decision on consumer subsidies to actions by Republican leaders in states opposed to Medicaid expansion.

The Gallup-Healthways survey found that the share of adults who lack insurance dropped to 11.9 percent for the first three months of this year, the lowest level since that survey began its tracking in 2008.

The latest update overlaps with the period when the health law's second sign-up season was winding down.

Coverage gains from 2014-2015 translate to about 3.6 million fewer adults uninsured since the fall, before open enrollment got under way, according to Gallup.

"The Affordable Care Act had three major objectives: increase coverage, slow the rate of increase in costs, and improve health," said Dan Witters, research director for the poll. "The first one is clearly a win. Coverage is increasing; there is no question about it."

On balance, an estimated 14.75 million adults have gained coverage since the fall of 2013, when the law's first open enrollment season was about to begin, according to Gallup.

"A big outstanding question is what will happen over the next couple of years," said Larry Levitt, a health insurance expert with the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation. "To meet expectations, enrollment has to continue to grow and push the number of uninsured down."

The Gallup-Healthways survey is closely followed because it combines the depth of government-sponsored research with the timeliness of media polls. Pollsters interview 500 people a day, nearly every day of the year.

One of the questions they ask is whether people have health insurance.

The health care law offers subsidized private insurance for people who don't have access to job-based coverage, combined with an expansion of Medicaid aimed at low-income adults in states that accept it.

Big states like Florida and Texas are among those refusing to expand Medicaid.

The law requires nearly all Americans to have coverage, either through an employer, a government program, or by purchasing their own plan.

Those remaining uninsured risk fines. It also provides subsidies to help low- to moderate-income people buy their own insurance.

Comparing the most recent sign-up period with the first open enrollment season, the survey found that the uninsured rate declined at a slightly slower pace this time around. In the first three months of this year, the uninsured rate fell by 1 percentage point.

Over the same period last year there was a 1.5 percentage-point decline.

From government officials to local volunteers, many people involved with the health care law expected some kind of second-year slowdown.

Open enrollment season was shorter, and those who had remained uninsured were seen as more skeptical about the value of coverage.

The survey also found:

Hispanics saw the biggest coverage gains of any ethnic or racial group. The uninsured rate dropped 8.3 points among Latinos since the end of 2013.

Even so, Hispanics are still more likely to be uninsured. "At a time when Republicans are very keenly trying to court the Hispanic vote, a large chunk of Hispanics are gaining insurance via the Affordable Care Act," Witters said.

BusinessNATCOM Makes Full Payment For NITEL by ifyan(op): 12:30pm On Apr 13, 2015
The preferred bidder for Nigerian Telecommunications Limited, NATCOM Consortium, has paid $176,575,700 (N29, 696,469,600) as the outstanding amount for the acquisition of the Federal Government-owned company.

The amount represents the outstanding 70 per cent of the $252,521,000 bid price for the acquisition of the assets and business units of NITEL and its mobile subsidiary, the Nigerian Mobile Communications Limited.

The Bureau of Public Enterprises in a statement by its Head of Public Communications, Mr. Chigbo Anichebe, in Abuja on Friday said NATCOM had paid the 70 per cent balance on Thursday.

He said the payment came four days ahead of the April 7 deadline set for the payment of the outstanding amount.

NATCOM had on January 6 paid $75,756,300 (N12, 727,058,400), being 30 per cent of the bid price in line with the offer letter by the BPE.

The bureau had mandated NATCOM to make an initial deposit of 30 per cent of the bid price not later than 14 days from the date of the offer letter.

The National Council on Privatisation had at its meeting on February 27, 2012, approved the privatisation of NITEL and MTEL through “guided liquidation”.

The strategy was adopted by the council after due consideration of other options and previous failed attempts by the BPE to privatise NITEL and MTEL through strategic core investor sale and negotiated sale strategies, and the huge liabilities to creditors to the tune of over N300bn.

Under the guided liquidation strategy, all the core assets and business undertakings of NITEL and MTEL were to be sold to a qualified bidder by the liquidator under the general guidance of the NPC.

Consequently, advertisements for the submission of Expressions of Interest from prospective bidders for the acquisition of the assets and business undertakings of NITEL and MTEL were placed in both local and international print media by the liquidator.

At the closing date on June 30, 2014, 17 organisations/consortia had submitted EOIs of which only two satisfactorily met the stipulated criteria for pre-qualification.

On September 18, 2014, the two successful applicants, NATCOM Consortium and NETTAG Consortium, that met the minimum pass mark of 75 per cent , were pre-qualified and issued the Request for Proposals and allowed to proceed to data room and physical due diligence stage prior to preparation and submission of their technical and financial proposals.

Following the disqualification of NETTAG Consortium, the financial bid of NATCOM Consortium was qualified for opening on December 3, 2014; having scored an average of 92 per cent in its technical proposal which was above the minimum pass mark of 75 per cent and had also satisfied the requirement of a valid bid bond.

Accordingly, the financial proposal of NATCOM consortium which was publicly opened on December 3, 2014 won with a bid price of $252.25m.

Consequently, the consortium on December 22, 2014 in Abuja signed the Assets Sale Agreement and obtained the offer letter from the liquidator of NITEL/MTEL and BPE.

1. If you see a guy u like, go toast d niccur. If ur date is slacking and u nid marriage, den u can PROPOSE to him or tell him u wanna get married.

2. If u are in a relationship:

- Call as often as d guy, sometimes. (Wot do some ladies use dia airtime for anyway?)

- Be d one to initiate the kissing and the sex, sometimes.

- Pay for the drinks and food when u guys are out on a date, sometimes.

- When it's his birthday, get him something expensive, not a boxer short or single, I mean something worth thousands of naira. Take him out on a date and spend YOUR money on him, sometimes. And der is absolutely nothing wrong with bearing all d expenses on ur valentine day's outing.

3. When planning for the wedding, split the total expenses 50-50 and also pay with YOUR money. Rememba, its equal rights we are talking abt here. wink

4. If u guys are married:

- take up some masculine responsibilies in d home. E.g. Learn to fix the bulbs, change d car tyres unaided.

- Split the total bills at home into two equal parts since its equal rightscheesy. So ur money is also OUR MONEY and vice versa.

5. During SEX:

- Initiate or be the one to ask for it sometimes.

- Do most of d fvcking sometimes. Encourage him to sit down or lie down, while you sit on his dickk and ride it, bounce on it and cowgirl dat tin to the north, south, west and east for over 30 mins till ur satisfied.

6. When d man is not happy, do provide some emotional support and ginger to motivate him.

7. When der is a challenge at home or he's facing some challenges in d ofis, do provide some sound ideas dat can be of help.

If thou doest all these, then thou shall surely be a true feminist. For equal rights means equal responsibilities.wink
Some are wrong because it seem to be wife support.

Regarding the topic, I can't say whether or not the modern woman is sad... it's not something that I wish to dwell on because the derivatives for happiness and/or sadness cuts across time and is independent of it.

However, if feminism is what the modern feminist feels she needs to be happy and content in a male-dominated world...then they really have some serious rethinking to do.

Feminism in it's glory days aimed to put males and females on the same pedestal, modern feminism (partly third-wave) actually has an elitist leaning.
It aims not only to put males and females on the same social, economic, and professional pedestal...it also wants to place women above and beyond the same so-called 'patriarchal society' that allowed them a voice in the first place... This is the problem.
THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM THEY KNOW THEY CAN'T SOLVE.

UNLESS THEY CAN REVERSE THE WORLD.
