If the landlord does not give you the money, wire your house directly and be using estimate bill while you wait for your own metre

So, I'm in a jam right now.

I'm a student and also work online. So I decided to rent a new place last week. The major reason is that I need constant power supply.

In this area they use band A light.

But the problem is that other student occupants don't always pay for meter subscription.

Hence there is constant light but most times this particular house don't always have light.

Before paying for rent I actually asked one of the tenants, the person currently occupying the room I paid for and he actually assured me that the compound has no light issues.

So, when they gave them light a few days ago I decided to go and check the house myself and discovered they don't have light while other compounds have light.

I then decided to speak with another tenant and he started narrating the issue to me. In fact, for the last 3 days they've not seen light in the compound even though the street have had constant light.

That some tenants are even using ac, electric cooker and so on.

So when they recharge it doesn't stay long and worst some don't even pay. I was there until night when I saw one of the tenants, a lady going round to raise money they can use for subscription that night.

She didn't get a kobo from the over 20 tenants there. The compound is that big.

So, even if I say I want to sub for the prepaid meter, with 20 people I don't think N20,000 will even last for the month.

I made the payment but I'm yet to move to the house because the other occupants are still in the house.

Please I'm thinking of going to collect my rent back because I can't cope with this. How do I approach this issue please.

Fuel nnpc imports is fake fuel, disappears from car tank.

Dangote fuel is far more better than the fuel nnpc imports.

Practical example...buy dangote fuel from MRS,ENYO,HEYDEN etc...into a white gallon and compare the two colors...

Apart from the fact that nnpc fuel disappears and vaporises 3x faster than dangote fuel, you can also see the difference in the color when put into a gallon.


My own point of view, I believe the problem of Nigeria is Nigerians. Imagine civil servants running our economy down because they want to make more money from we the citizens.

Fuel you aere supposed to use longer will dry up sooner, so that you will go buy another one, thereby enriching the wicked scivil.servants (govt worker).

These countries should start refunding at least 50% of the applicant's money....Or even the whole money...they would be receiving applications knowing fully well that they would reject the applicant. I believe it is wrong.

Funny enough, I drove into the filling station to buy that fuel ..and I had to use keg to buy the next fuel

That's not true. Nigeria is the world's biggest producer of cassava. Thailand is the biggest exporter of processed cassava.

There's nothing wrong with exporting a product even if the demand is very high in the country.

We are busy exporting fertilizers when everyday food in Nigeria gets more and more expensive for the common man on the street...


See beggars everywhere....there is no day walk through Lagos road and don't have someone begging you for money for food. Yet we are expanding the exportation of products like fertilizers that should produce enough foods for us.


Do you know that Brazil is the largest producer of cassava but don't export, because they have to first satisfy themselves, but here in Nigeria we do otherwise and even glorify ourselves.

Dangote is using us to become and remain the wealthiest man in Africa, well he cannot be more than that...the wealthiest man in Africa, he can't cross Africa.

Cos how can petrol locally produced be as expensive as the one imported? He is using the latest refining equipments that reduces the cost of production in his 650mbpd refinery.

How can dangote cement be more expensive in Nigeria than in other African countries, even after transportation cost to other countries..

Dangote is just a local African champion.

Now to build a simple duplex will require millions of naira because of Dangot's greed.
