What my friend did, aside from the meds given to her at that time by the doctor, was to avoid anything sugar and she was consistent in her castor oil therapy. Her last scan showed remarkable improvement.

Sorry my fellow ma, I give my facts based on experience not Google. I'm not a doctor. A close friend of mine tried Ovaboost when she had a 2x2cm right ovarian cyst. She had not finished the bottle when pain on her right landed her in the hospital. Scan revealed cyst was 6x5cm. It's safer to avoid to avoid supplements like that when having ovarian issues so as not to complicate things. But it may not be the same for all. It's better to seek advice from certified Naturopath doctors when taking these supplements rather than self medicating.

Pls sir stop circulating wrong info. Ova boost is just a natural supplement that helps older women produce healthier eggs. Its function is never to release more. If you don't know, goggle is your friend. There's no lay man's language when it comes to drug names.

Pls I agree that you should not bother with hormonal profile this cycle. Wait next next cycle.

Ovaboost acts as Clomid.

It's aim in layman's language is to help release more eggs.

Just a quick question? Does ovaboost stimulate the ovaries? I thought it only helped with egg quality. Then letrozole, isn't it the one that stimulates the ovaries like clomid? I'm just asking n willing to learn o pls.

Please avoid Ovaboost or any supplement that stimulates the ovaries if you have PCOS or cyst. It may do you more harm than good. Stick to Metformin and Letrazole. Then choose btw Fertilaid, Pregnacare or good substitute.

If u have the money go for fertile aid + ovaboost + inositol . Otherwise replace fertile aid with pregnacare. It will balance your hormones.

Or ovaboost and metformin (depends on weight 1500mg should be ok) and pregnacare.

Within 3 months u should get result by the grace of God. Ur hormones will respond N u will ovulate. Eat clean. Avoid sugary food and fruits. replace yam with plantain. Replace garri with plantain flour.

watch what you eat otherwise metformin won't work. Avoid sugary drinks like coke ,malt etc

You didn't include Progesterone. It's important as well.
Yes, your test falls within range but you LH:FSH ratio is pointing towards PCOS.
This is not a diagnosis, just contribution. I may be wrong. Other experienced mamas will put mouth.

@iGaz,pls which hospital was it done,DH has varicocele and I guess that is what affected his sperm cells drastically.thank you

Varicocele can be confirmed through Scan. As at last year, the surgery alone cost N250,000. This was excluding cost of drugs, wards, other services or eventualities. Don't know the present cost now.

I don't think fueltank/supermarket leakage is an issue as one mama earlier said, it's just responding to gravity. If your DH has good motility, you don't need to worry much, let the few do their thing. But if u still worry, u can try doggy or other methods mamas mentioned earlier.
