Obi should focus on election monitoring by making sure he has agents in every polling unit and that they report in real time the results of the election.

He should focus on avoiding being rigged out like in the last election. That's more important than media chats which serves the media houses more than his ambition.

But there is a problem with this result, if Tinubu losses north with a small margin and losses South with a small margin while Atiku losses South with a big margin and Obi losses north with a big margin Tinubu wins the election, this scenario is what I dread but unfortunately it is possible to occur. If Atiku and Obi set up properly coordinated monitoring, Tinubu will lose with a wide margin to third position.

These two men have between then some 13 million votes. Factor in vote suppression in the last election, we may be looking at some 18 million votes between them.

That's no mean numbers. So in terms of election monitoring, they should create a joint monitoring system that ensures that votes actually counts. I mean that the forthcoming election must be independently monitored through voting accreditation, ballot casting, collation and announcement to make sure that what is declare is fact based.


This is even far more important than calling people out to vote.

The era when people vote and their vote don't count should be over. The era of asking people to go to court long over.

For 2027, Atiku and Obi must assure Nigerians that their vote will count by providing a transparent monitoring system that tally with what INEC is declaring. Whether they will do it independently or as a team is left for them.

In 2027, no eye should be on the judiciary.

If you notice Atiku he made sure he never referred to him as president and the arrogance upon which he did it was so conspicuous. Tinubu whenever, he mentioned Buhari wasn’t during a press release it were mostly during campaigns. But Atikus case, it has always been both during press release and interviews.
