China and Russia cannot risk their economic stability over Iran knowing that the US is far too strong and China far too inexperienced in real modern combat.

I have the inkling that China is bidding its time and any war with the US is off the table for now until they're certain they're strong enough not to make the mistake of Japan. Iran is getting punished because it didn't learn from the mistake of the Arabs against Israel.

You don't know what you're saying. Nothing has changed in wars in a thousand years. Armies have known that dominance of the enemy requires taking charge through the air. That's why there have been archers through antiquity.

Even during WW1. All the warring nations tried having armed aircraft and moving them into battle. The propeller planes of the British air force and the Zeppelin of the German Air Force saw action.

Calling the Nigerian military to adapt to what is in plain view is putting the cart before the horse. A military that cannot fight terror in it's own backyard has its hands tied enough and telling them to invest in missile technology or aircraft is like saying they have not been funded ab initio.
