SDP and NRC were defunct by the coup of General Sani Abacha in 1993. They cease to exist. The SDP you have today is not thesame SDP in 1993. In the 4th republic (from 1999) a new set of political parties were registered. Some people taught to register themselves as SDP and so they did. The yorubas thought they want to use Awolowo's party but in order not to erase history they adopted AD instead of AG.

AD is still existing today but since President Obasanjo and Maurice Iwu were bent on making PDP the only party in Nigeria. Tinubu the last AD governor standing asked for a merger of parties but a handful of AD members wanted to remain in AD. So majority of AD members moved on to form AC. AC then evolved into ACN (AC is no longer registered). ACN latter merged with CPC to form APC (ACN and CPC no longer exist).

When "sources" are used these are people that should know or would know. It is not reportedly said but the information came from known people or trusted sources. What is "reportedly" is what is general knowledge but may or may not be a fact or unverified by the reporter i.e the reporter cannot cite a particular source of this information other than a common knowledge

I am not always against Peter Obi. I am against his claims that he's a saint and a good administrator. I was well of age when Obi was governor of Anambra and he was a failure in my own assessment. I cannot wish him on Nigeria.

Endsars was hot in Lagos with debate about who died at Lekki tollgate or if anyone died at the toll gate at all. But many youths perished at Ezu river in Anambra under Obi's directive. He failed to show up at the public enquiry.

I have seen many if not all IPOB supporters on twitter (now X) change from the bloodied Nigerian flag and Nigeria is a zoo logo to PO supporters. Nothing screams ipob movement to me than that. These guys never saw anything good in Nigeria. Their sudden love for Nigeria and this "a new Nigeria is possible" is a ruse to deceive the unsuspecting.

Only Peter Obi's name showed up in the pandora papers of those who loot nations and stack their loot offshore among Nigerian politicians.
