I hope the wailers will seize this opportunity. When others are succeeding don't be unfortunate to complain and watch your mates own a house while you are actively criticising government online with nothing to show for it
PoliticsRe: Igbos Making Us Proud Abroad - Hadiza Elrufai by IgOga(m): 5:17pm On Aug 04, 2025
The El-rufais just dey whine Igbos. I hope their intentions are pure.

Cos they may the joker to keep Obi in ADC. Obi must learn from Wike who trusted Tambuwal (called him brother, hoping to make him a running mate)...when it was between Nigeria and Fulani loyalty Tambuwal chose his Fulani brother, Atiku.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi's One Term Proposal Lack Sense by IgOga(m): 11:32am On Aug 04, 2025
It makes sense when you consider the political calculations. The North wants power back. With APC they will surely have it by 2031. So it makes sense for them to support Tinubu and after 4 years reclaim power.

Obi spending 8 years means power will not come back to the North until 2035. To convince the North for support Obi needs to pledge to do just one term. But constitutionally Obi can run for second term and nobody can stop him. So it's a big gamble for the North.

Unfortunately promising just one term sounds desperate, though understandable.

Atiku also is making similar pitch to get South East support. Atiku is saying I will do one term and handover to a South East man. Atiku knows without South East support he is unlikely to win the election. Atiku too sounds desperate. Atiku can only run for President constitutionally having being VP twice. Many in ADC are there because of Atiku. If Atiku fails to get the presidential nomination will he sabotage ADC so that he can try again in 2031 when the North will claim it is their turn.

zero8zero:
Atiku will lose in Adamawa before 12 noon on election day.
This 12 noon talk is so stupid when elections actually close at 3pm. In the days of military option A4 electoral systems mean that by 12pm you queue behind your preferred candidate and the voters are counted usually around 12pm...now elections end at 3pm in the closed ballot system.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Imposes New 15% Tariff On Nigeria, Others (See Full List) by IgOga(m): 9:49am On Aug 01, 2025
Maxymilliano:
Nigeria should also reciprocate in a like manner ...

An eye for an eye cool
International politics isn't a game of impulse. Talk, negotiate, find concession in other areas.

Trump's ultimate goal is reciprocal traffics.

Whatever we export to the US will become more expensive for Americans by 15%. If we impose 15% tariff on US goods imported to Nigeria, then Nigerians will pay 15% more for such goods

Give them nothing? Slash salaries of football players across the world?

A CEOs salary can pay multiple teachers a month. So what should we do about it?

When you set out in life to attract negativity your life becomes negative. Can't see anything good in anything. Even if it is good you somehow find the negative in it.

May God deliver you from chronic negativity

El-Rufai wants to backstab Atiku as usual....but Atiku's dollar is long.

I see chaos brewing in ADC. Atiku, Obi, Ameachi and Elrufai. All want the same thing.

PoliticsRe: I Regret Voting Tinubu — I Can’t Even Afford ₦100 Recharge Card!” — Ex-apc Suppo by IgOga(m): 1:05pm On Jul 30, 2025
To think that if a politician is in power your problems will disappear is the illusion of many people.

You need to keep working...keep making decisions that will better your life.

There is poverty is every country on earth. Poverty rate may vary but there will always be poor people. You need to decide whether you want to be poor or not and work towards your goal irrespective of the person in power

PoliticsRe: ADC Will Collapse In Three Months, Says Ali Modu Sheriff by IgOga(m): 9:12am On Jul 29, 2025
Not sure about that but there is a potential for collapse if the presidential primary/candidate is not well managed.

If Atiku gets the ticket or Obi isn't given the ticket ADC may become a shadow of its potential.

So far Atiku and Obi have not formally joined ADC. Obi has not even resigned from LP. So ADC is on life support

You guys are jokers

How can you appear in an unveiling event and claim you were tricked. Did you not ask when first told about coalition "What is the objective?"

If Obi didn't ask that question then he is unfit to be President.

If he did and agreed to join the coalition. Then he's a liar

PoliticsRe: Natasha Akpoti’s Own Appeal Confirms No Order Mandated Her Recal by IgOga(m):
The judiciary cannot tell the legislative arm of government how to conduct its affairs.

If Natasha should take any case to court it should be her alleged sexual abuse but since she made it up like her previous lies she stayed clear of that instead she's asking the judiciary to intervene in a legislative procedure. The principle of separation of power would have informed any educated person that it will not happen.

PoliticsRe: You Can't Be A Coalition Member And Remain In PDP - Bala Mohammed by IgOga(m): 8:35am On Jul 24, 2025
grin grin grin grin grin grin
The coalition was hastily put together for Atiku

I am sure Obi agreed in principle to be VP to Atiku but the so called obedients are not buying that arrangement.

LP is so fractured that there were 2 NEC meetings Governor Otti attended one and Ahmed Datti attended the other one. Obi was absent in both.

No one knows the real NEC in LP. If they go to court, the winner will probably be Wike's faction.

Except parties merge together and get new identity through INEC this coalition is a joke....and the joke is on those who have resigned from their parties to join ADC
