Why is Obi not stepping down...many of you calling yourselves obidients are narcissists. SO Atiku should not contest because you decide what is good for Atiku and we must all accept your narrow view? Even Atiku is not allowed to exercise his free will because you have made the decision. Smh. Obi will not win with or without coalition but sometimes I wish he can win so that your illusion of Obi is your salvation will clear quickly

I remember Atiku visiting Aregebesola in May 2025 and it was a big news. Same Aregbe is now National Secretary of ADC.

The coalition is Atiku's idea and every key stakeholder knows Atiku will be their candidate. If Obi claims he doesn't know then he is not as smart as I thought he is.

If ATiku is alive till 2027 he will be ADC presidential candidate. Obi will be offered a VP role and Obi probably already accepted before joining the unveiling of the coalition.

This" we are still deciding" talk is a mirage for those who know nothing about politics

naming a movement after a person is the biggest mistake ever. First Obi is a politician he would go for self preservation. He knows ADC would offer him VP position and he has perhaps accepted when he said on X "decision will be difficult"

Politicians go where it favours them. They will tell you what you want to hear but at the end of the day they will make their decisions based on self interest

Maybe Obi is really working for Tinubu as Sowore alleged. All I have been hearing from LP wing of the coalition is give us the presidential slot or nothing. Atiku is a shrewd politician. He will promise you want you want but will still win the primary and put you guys in limbo.

If after unveiling a coalition Aisha does not know her principal's position in the coalition then she and Obi are jokers not politicians.

Before a coalition talk begins the first question to ask is "What is in there for me". If your own objectives will not be met you don't join them.

Even "small" politicians like Kachikwu (ADC presidential candidate in 2023) said on Channels TV that when they came to him in the early days he asked this question "What are we trying to achieve with the coalition" and he said he was told "We want our power back" i.e. we want power to return to the North. You sat with those you called "structure of criminality" less than 2 years ago, amongst known thieves, even the one who deceived a whole nation about Nigeria Air is now in your coalition. Every politician in the coalition know what they will get out of it. But you are hoping they will only make important decisions after unveiling

They want to use Obi and when Obi and his minions realise they have been used they will then blame Obi for killing the coalition. And if Obi becomes a running mate.....APC will win again

Coalition makes so much noise but many of them have no political standing except Atiku and Obi......and it seems Atiku will be the candidate. Whether Obi would accept to be demoted to VP is not clear. Obi has been screaming that they should let him run as the presidential candidate and Aisha Yesufu has echoed the same sentiment. This means only one thing, the coalition is not looking at Obi to lead their presidential ticket. Hence the plea - "I will end all problems in 2 years ", "I will do only one term if you give me the ticket"

Obi is not the presidential candidate. This is politics. The positions were shared before the unveiling. Do you think the coalition will just be hoping someone emerges as presidential candidate? Then you know nothing about politics. Public announcements in politics is a show off. The real deal has been done in secret. A coalition set up to remove the sitting president must have already settled who will lead the ticket otherwise it's a joke not a coalition.

Obi followers believe in new Nigeria led by Obi. Most of them don't believe in Atiku. Obi will not be ADC presidential candidate and Obi knows that his influence in ADC is tamed by Atiku's reach and power. Best that will come out his Obi becomes Atiku's VP. VPs are just errand boys anyways and many Obi's supporters will not stand for that. They are already lamenting Aisha Yesufu has warned the coalition that Obi is the answer but this is not LP where social media influencers rule the day ADC is full of career politicians...decisions are made in secret meetings not online

Obi leaving LP without a concrete assurance from ADC will be his biggest political mistake. Obi will not be the presidential candidate of the ADC. If he formally joins ADC and loose the primary to Atiku. It will be difficult for him to decamp again to another party to run for president.

Obi did not convince Aregbesola to join ADC. Obi did not convince Amaechi to join ADC, Obi did not convince El-rufai to join ADC. Obi did not convince David Mark to join ADC, Obi did not convince Nwosu to let the coalition use ADC platform, Obi did not convince former Buhari minsters to join ADC. I say this to show you that Obi's influence in the ADC is next to none. He is being used by the original coalition framers. They want him for his popularity. At best they will promise him the VP slot but as you know the presidential candidate can always change their minds about their VP.

Obi will not be ADC presidential candidate. The positions are already shared before the talks began. Obi is pencilled as potential VP. It's potential until Atiku decides he's definitely going to be the VP.

If Obi is in ADC to deputise Atiku then he's made a wise move but if he's there thinking they will adopt him as a presidential candidate...then he would be mistaken.

This just shows that Obi will not be their candidate. Before you come out to say you are part of the coalition the first thing you settle is "what is in it for me" Publicly shouting I want a one term shows that baba has been played. Atiku knows why he is in the coalition so is all other politicians that are there.

If Obi never asked this question but his publicly negotiating his position in the coalition...then he's been used. No wonder El-Rufai was holding his hands (he knows it will trend) ...Dino praising him...cos they are using him.

ADC will not stand a chance in 2027. This is not because they don't have strong politicians but everyone is there for their personal ambition. It takes one candidate to emerge and you will see others flee. Anyone who attended yesterday's unveiling who has not yet resigned from his/her party is only looking for a SPV to float their political ambition. If they can't get it in ADC they will move on.

When APC was formed Tinubu and Buhari had met to consolidate their support and ideas. Tinubu was ready to forgo his political ambition to allow Buhari run. The merger was mainly between ACN and CPC. PDP disgruntled boys heard about the coalition and the formation of the new party and they all rushed to join. They called themselves n-PDP.

At the convention. The ACN wing led by Tinubu did not contest for the presidential primary. n-PDP led by Atiku contested and even spent dollars in Lagos. Buhari was the joint candidate of the ACN and CPC. Despite Atiku's spending Buhari floored him in the primary...even though Buhari spent nothing. The thing still dey do Atiku and his PDP boys like magic till today. If you ask them what happened they will say "Only Jagaban can answer that question". They didn't know what hit them.

As soon as Atiku and his hallelujah boys lost they returned to the PDP.

After Buhari the ACN wing of the APC got their own turn as originally agreed. n-PDP boys are back to finding another coalition like prodigal children

The ADC is Atiku's idea....Atiku led and he will contest.....What I am not sure about is Obi and LP supporters. If there was no agreement that Obi will be the candidate and someone is telling them they should submit to free and fair election...then they are baby politicians....cos the candidate is always first decided before the coalition talk starts. And from all that LP people have said so far, the presidential candidate of the coalition is not coming from the LP wing. All these campaign after unveiling shows how shallow LP guys are in Nigerian politics.

We now in the warning season. What were you thinking when you aligned with PDP Hallelujah boys.

Except Atiku doesn't want to contest. If Atiku wants to contest, he will win the ADC primary.

Obi has been shouting "give me one term". "I will solve all problems in 2 years" Ayeisha is now threatening ADC not to ignore Obi. What this says in political terms is - Obi does not have the structure within ADC to emerge as the presidential candidate.

Atiku is not counting on grassroot votes alone. Rigging is in their agenda. Dollars will flow at their convention and everybody is there for their pocket and personal ambitions

Atiku will likely emerge except he doesn't contest. If he wins the primary, many southerners will have no moral right to campaign in the south for another northerner.

If Atiku loose to Obi........will he support his once upon a time political son? Not likely...cos he is the most desperate to be president.


When APC was formed Buhari and Tinubu were the biggest fish and they both made a pact. These guys running to ADC are all desperate and that will be their downfall.

Besides you can be sure Tinubu has his agents amongst them...who will be reporting progress report directly to the president. That is how it works

Many Nigerians will not vote for Atiku. And many will not vote because Obi is not the presidential ticket. That is if Amaechi doesn't kill Obi's ambition as VP. The electoral act means they can keep Obi on hopes till it is too late for him to contest anywhere else
