Igbos can never destroy or attack a person source of livelihood, u can only be tasked exorbitantly that u will consider leaving
Igbos can destroy your source of livelihood if you destroy theirs. Take the herdsmen for instance. So don't say Igbos can attack, if you attack Igbos, they will attack even worse.

Igbo's are not a tribal bigots. They love strangers even more than themselves. Go and make your verity. Our landlord daughter here in Lagos married to aboyi man and they are living and doing business in aba.
She told her mother that we are wonderful people, that we love them and we don't have any problem with then.
She always remind her mother these each time she want to speak ills of Igbo's
If and only if you are not hostile to us. If you are hostile to Igbos, they give it back to you many folds. If you doubt it, ask the herdsmen

The dust has almost settled after the disturbing elections in Lagos.

Peace is either returning or has returned. Maturity seems to have the upper hand and people seem to be thinking with their heads and not emotions.

What happened was strictly politics and should be limited to it. Don't carry it on your heads.
We pray it's limited to politics.

...because I know when it's related to religion between the north and south, it isn't limited to religion.

what risk... In anambra founder of Onitsha business school NYSC took him there too... The issue with Igbos some of Dem is tooe much arrogance toxic pride and victimhoodnes... In imo too a doctor NYSC took there has hospital today married an Igbo woman too... Nigeria should begin deliberate way of accommodating non indigenes give Dem jobs like lagos does cos only Lagos employ non Yorubas and indigenes into civil service... kaduna did recently too...it doesn't mean undermining indigenes... U pick d best and fixed them... There's Also a particular guy NYSC took to anambra he was retain in Anambra civil service today he is a senior staff in civil service anambra...
This risk I am talking about is based on this issue some yorubas are telling Igbos to leave lagos. In this past elections, igbos and their businesses were attacked. If there should be a reprisal attack in the East here, this his business that jas been exposed on the Internet may not be spared

It is an objective fact that more than 50% of Nigerians live in poverty, it's not matter of opinion. Your anecdotal evidence is living in denial. Look around wherever you live, do you think it is normal for underage kids to be hawking goods in traffic?
If you keep this mindset, you will remain poor

Igbos don't behave so ignorantly, they'll protect him with their life.
Did we protect the hausas/Muslims when igbos were being attacked in the North? We went after the Hausas in the East. Igbos are being attacked in Lagos. They are being intimidated against exercising their electoral franchise. They are being are being told to leave Lagos by the yorubas. Their markets and businesses are under attack. If their should be a reprisal attack just like we use to experience with the northerners, this man's business may not be spared because it has been exposed in the Internet. That's my point

You said this because you have neither visited Enugu nor known anybody from the SE as a friend. That man has 100% right as any other indigene of the state in Enugu. As a matter of fact, there are markets in the state that are governed by Hausas and Yorubas. The Mami market, New Layout Cattle market, etc are headed by Hausas and you don't hear the Igbos shouting that Hausas want to take over Enugu state. They are welcome to contribute their quote in developing the state. If you can compete with the Igbos in commerce, you are most welcome!

Haven't you asked yourself why there are specific markets in the SE? You have a market for kitchen utensils alone (ogba efere), etc? Have you heard of economics of scale? Do you know why you are able to buy some items cheaper? Not because they are produced of low quality but because the traders put resources together to buy the same item in a very large quantity?

Visit the east and stay for 6 months. I will give you free accommodation and tour guide within that period.
brother, I am an Igbo. I was born in Nsukka. I attended university primary school and spent a year at university secondary school before we relocated to Abia. I have done some jobs in Enugu Town, Abakpa, Oba. I have been to places like Opi, oji river, udi, etc. I am an 042 guy.

See the reason I said what i said.

In the past, we have had some clashes with the hausas/Muslims in the east in the form of reprisals attacks after Igbos/Christians were attacked in the North.

Today, due to elections, the same scenario is trying to play out again. Igbos are attacked in Lagos, their markets and businesses are set ablaze. If today, there is a reprisal attack on yorubas in the East, he may likely fall a victim because his business has been exposed in the Internet.

Since 1992... No risk till now.

Read, you no gree
There is tension as some notable yoruba indigenes have told the igbos to leave lagos. Some igbos were attacked in Lagos and intimidated against voting in the last election. We even saw some markets dominated by igbos being set ablaze. Aggrieved igbos may decide to attack yoruba businesses in the East as well.

We know, but bringing rhe business in the Internet and telling us he is yoruba could attracts miscreants to go after him. Have you not seen nor heard what some yorubas are saying to igbos?

Igbo people don't stifle businesses they will rather want him to expand further so that they can sell books, Okpa, Gala, chairs to him and his students.
The only risk this will pose to him is that he may face competition as many will now realise that school is very profitable in that area
In recent times, we have seen the activities of unknown gun men in the S.E. following the utterances of some westerners, these UGM can extend their activities to non Igbo businesses

You didn't understand what I meant. There is tension in the land. Certain things should not be brought online for safety reason.

It takes capital my dear to start a business.
That's true but you can anchor with someone to raise capital.

If you are true to yourself, there are many ways to raise a capital.

For instance : A friend learnt a trade. After, he went to the village and his dad sold part of their family land, gave him the money to start the business. Today, he has his own land and house in the city.

Mr Pessimist. Why are your thoughts always negative?
in this period of tensed tribal/political war, you think you are doing his business any good by posting it on the Internet?
Education / Re: Adewale Alao posted to Enugu for his NYSC now has a school in Enugu by iHart(m): 7:47am On Mar 25, 2023
This could pose a risk to him.

Modified: for those quoting me, you know that the igbos are being attacked in lagos. There were intimidations of the igbos by the yorubas during the last election. Igbo markets and businesses have been set ablaze in recent times. Igbos are being told to leave lagos and go develop the east. If there should be a reprisal attack, this post the op made about this yoruba guy could pose a danger to him. Some miscreant may decide to look for him and his business to attack.

We have seen such reprisal attacks here in the east against the northerners any time igbos/Christians are attacked in the North.

The igbos can do the same to the yorubas.

A quick question sir.

Did you inform him in advance about your appointment?
He is full time staff. His duty is to come to work everyday but due to the nature of our job, he can have up to 14 days free in a month. For those free days I don't bother them and they can use it for anything. He always takes advantage of my carefree attitude and since I am not always around, he doesn't take the job serious. For me, I don't care how and when you do my job, all I want is for you to do the job and do it very well.

Imagine my driver telling me he went to charge phone. Phone he can easily charge in the vehicle when he is going to deliver an order. Due that flimsy excuse, I lost an order. I sacked the guy. Someone will have sleepless nights to run a business and you think you can come and misbehave in the job.

Banks are not threatened at all, banks are still in control of deposits and transfer made on pos.it only reduced the work load of banks employees
I visited my village the other day. I was surprised to see that the banking hall was empty. If that is the case on many locations, why have a gigantic building as a banking hall when all transactions could be managed via mobile app and POS? Soon banks will begin to close down many branches
Business / Re: CBN Bars Agents From Using Pos Terminals For Transactions by iHart(m): 9:20pm On Mar 15, 2023
They introduced cashless policy and banking halls became empty. Bank apps became sluggish and people switched to POS to make and recieve payments. Nobody is going to the banks for transactions. Banks are threatened, now they want to fight POS

It's better you follow the mechanic to the market that way he can determine what exactly you need to buy but you ask the store owner for the best quality brands available.

Going to buy what you have no idea about is a waste of time and resources.
the last time I ringed my bus with this mechanic, it was about two years ago, the engine failed within two months. I took it to another mechanic, he told me the brand to buy and from whom to buy. It lasted. Now the previous mechanic is fixing the bus and i don't want what happened before to happen again. I want to get to a well known store to ask for a very good quality rings. I am with the piston.
