Mrs Yemisi Haleemat Busari has a Bachelor's Degree in English,1986 from the University Of Ilorin, She also as a degree in LLB from University of Lagos in the year 1990 in 1994 she got her Master's Degree, Law from UNILAG. 

She obtained her MBA in Lagos Business School in 2004, She is Married to Teslim Busari (SAN).

She was a director in Zain Nigeria Ltd (now Airtel Nigeria, a leading telecommunications company).

Mrs Yemisi Haleemat Busari is the Director on the board of several blue-chip companies, She is currently a serving director in First Bank, Sierra Leone.

She is the secretary/head of Legal Services at Honeywell Flour Mill Plc,She is a mother and as well as a devout Muslim.

The Senator representing Rivers West , Osinakachukwu Ideozu , has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC ).

Majority Leader of the Senate , Ahmed Lawan, announced Osinakachukwu’ s defection at plenary on Wednesday .
Lawan, who was moving a motion for the adjournment of plenary till Nov. 6 , welcomed and congratulated him for joining the majority party .

With this , the three senators from Rivers , a PDP controlled state , are now members of the APC .
The others are Sen. Andrew Uchendu (Rivers East ) and Magnus Abe (Rivers South East )

2019: Don't Field Omisore For Osun East Senatorial Slot, We Want Our Indigene, Ijesa Citizens Write Oshiomhole


Some concerned citizens of Ijesha land in Osun state have forwarded an open letter to the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Comrade Adams Oshiomole requesting that one of their kinsmen should be fielded as the candidate to represent Osun East Senatorial District.



In the letter, which was sighted by our correspondent asked the Governor of Ekiti state and that of Ondo state, Akeredolu to desist from their plans of making Senator Iyiola Omisore the flagbearer of the APC for the senatorial district.


They denied any knowledge of the party's agreement with Omisore to be fielded for the senatorial contest.


They said an Ijesha citizen should be given the senatorial ticket in the interest of justice and fairness saying the district had more Ijesa local government areas than Ife.


"Otuba Iyiola Omisore was the Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District 2003-2011 and he's from Ile -Ife and Senator Christopher Babajide Omoworare from Ile-Ife from 2011 till date.


"We demand Ijesha citizens to represent us for Osun East senatorial District; we have suffered enough and we have enough population to deliver, Ife has four local government areas while ijesha has 6 local government areas. we have much population than Ife.


Also, we realised the pranks ongoing that Dr. Kayode Fayemi and Akeredolu wanted to use Otunba Iyiola Omisore to hijack Osun from us so as to have total control of the Southwest. We don't want! They are planning to use Omisore and we will resist it.


"More so, we aren't aware of any agreement between Fayemi and Omisore during the Osun guber election as far as the Osun East senatorial ticket is concerned

"We are also aware that the party entered into an agreement with Omisore to have his seized passport released to him and the withdrawal of his EFCC case. We are aware that Omisore was given some huge amount of money. So what else is he looking for?


"All we want is for Ijesha to have the Osun East Senatorial ticket," they insisted.

He successfully completed his four years tenure, he should be on his way to Afao-Ekiti and not to catch a flight in Akure.

I also don't understand the tears and emotional reaction. Did he want to rule the state forever or what? And what's the nonsense about coming back? Is he talking about coming back to Ekiti from prison or what?

Obasanjo cannot beat his chest that he can deliver a state for any candidate. Tinibu can guarantee you millions of vote. He can leave the party he formed today and he is guaranteed of winning governorship, senate, both state and federal assembly elections. He helped formed AD, he left and formed AC, he won. He formed ACN, he won, His ACN merged with PMB's CPC to become APC, they won the center. That friend is influence. OBJ cannot influence the election of his local government. Internationaly, based on his portfolio and office held, he has greater influence than Tinubu. He can also cajole elite politicians and ex generals than Tinubu but for grassroots mobilization and support, Tinubu is vastly more influential as the grassroots deliver the votes. OBJ got his influence based on the office occupied but tinubu as a srewd politician built and toiled for the influence he enjoys. He knows when to give and draw favors. He knows when to bargain hard anf when to concede. He is a politician par excellence OBJ cannot dream of. Tinubu has thousands and millions who can take a bullet for him, the same cannot be said for Baba OBJ. Ever wondered why an ex Governor could be this powerful?
OBJ is a POWERFUL man with NO POWER BASE while Tinubu is a equally a POWERFUL man with INFLUENCE and A POWER BASE and SOLIDLY LOYAL POLITICAL STRUCTURE ready to deliver for him anytime

exactly on point, do you know some people in my neighbourhood said that tinubu is more powerful than obasanjo. i strongly disagree with them.if obasanjo can create ADC party and still alot of lawmakers in the green and red chamber are decamping to ADC , definitely he is widely accepted. tinubu should create another party and let us see how he is more strong and widely accepted.
