@Spikyn You definitely my man/woman lol. A fellow TV Nut! ![]() Yes Joan was initially mildly interesting (for me) but my mid-season i kindda got bored with it. What do you mean Angel was Joss Whedon? Joss Whedon is the creator of the show. Yup i have seen Firefly. I agree it's tight, thus ended up being the basis of his (Joss) movie - Serenity. Seen 'Friday Night Lights'? am just starting on that one, still working on it lol. Not yet feeling the buzz. What about 'Entourage'? Quite cool. Think Jeremy Piven deserved his Emmy. ![]() Lemme know what other shows you watched, are watching, are yet to watch lol. |

One of my best scenes in a movie (have a lot of them) was the crowning of Aragorn in LOTR:Return of the king. When the camera sweeps from the bottom of the mountain to the top. I get goose bumps everytime and then Aragorn sings after being crowned and white petals fall from the sky. Simply magical! Wasn't much on the dialogue but more on the camera angles to catch the emotions and essence of the crowning of the king. Another scene i love is when Faramir and his men race back to the White city and are being chased by the Ringwraith and then Gandalf gallops towards them and the light beams from his staff (music comes into play). . .That part makes me feel like am flying with an angel ![]() |

dejahvu:It's all good ![]() Have to agree with Po Deep on the worthiness of the deaths. All are equal. Their deaths all made an impact in their respective towns, countries and even history.dejahvu:All lost greatly. What is important to them is relative. Maximus lost his family, his position in the army, his freedom, his life,. So did Leonidas (his throne, his family, his freedom, his life). Wallace lost his family, his freedom, his life. With Maximus, you saw that his family, his honor were very important to him. With Leonidas, you saw his freedom, his honor, his family was important to him. With Wallace, you saw his freedom, his family, his honor were important to him. To each, what he considered the most precious was the most important. I fell they all lost alot but also gained what the intended to gain. Freedom for their people/country, making life a li'l more better for their families and like all the greats, they made into history. |
