Yes her. Same expressions. I think her breakout role has been her best so far (what was it? Confessions of a drama queen or something like that). As for too sexy for the movie, i wouldn't know. Not many of them actresses are good for anything besides eye candy, so maybe in the end she fits right into the movie. Considering this movie is right up my genre and after seeing it, it is almost irritating.
Food / Re: What Food Is On Your Mind right Now? by iice(f): 2:01pm On Jul 09, 2012
Deserts. Mostly cakes, tarts, and pies. Bluidy cravings will be the death of me grin Recently had to drag myself to a place i don't even go to, just to go buy some cakes since i'm done with all those around me. At this rate, i'd prolly cover the whole lot of bakeries/pastry shops this year.

I love scarves. All sorts just not too much pink color. Basically i use it around my neck or to cover my hair which i'm usually lazy to fix. Bed hair, helmet hair cheesy
Fashion / Re: Hot Or Not? by iice(f): 1:45pm On Jul 09, 2012
Ok i have something similar to Sofia's jeans just in checkered and i love them. She looks hot.

JLO is usually hot. So no surprise there.
TV/Movies / Re: Japanese Animation (anime) Vs Western Animation by iice(f): 1:41pm On Jul 09, 2012
michelin89: Totally spies was nice. i loved their fashion sense.

and i also think those exasperatingly exaggerated expressions make the japanese animation absurd and unique. my favourite anime of all time has to be the craziest and most paradoxal anime ever. it was an explosion of the impossible made possible.

Hehehe i sometimes dress like Alex, maybe with a smidgen of Sam in there. I loved their fashion sense too. I think that's the most appealing part of anime to me. The weird/outrageous fashion.

Red Riding Hood ~ Didn't enjoy it but it wasn't like so terrible. That woman is a crappy actress. Same expressions in all her movies.

I'm more of the western Animation. I grew up with those.
Don't like Anime. And i've not watch most of what most people watch. . .
The only anime that i enjoyed was Samurai X (The movie was even better) and Gungrave. Everything else is bleh to me. I can put up with a little anime incorporated into western animation. . .say Totally Spies or Teen Titans but that's about much i can handle. I can manage a little japanese style like 'The Batman', Blade, Thundercats 2011. You can see the influence there but it's not overt like those pokemon thingies with their exaggerated expressions as if humans aren't already exasperatingly exaggerated. Why would i want my toons that way? However i enjoy the video games more. The only thing if done in pure anime that i would watch is 'Batman'. Okay and Xmen. I tried Iron Man and Wolverine. Not working well for me.

Can't believe Vieira hasn't written on Spidey.
Haven't seen it since things have prevented me from doing anything since last week.

Anyway,
Detachment. Loved it. Very depressing and the mix documentary style shooting works even if i'm not a big fan of it.
Lock out. LMAO!!! Wisecrack. Not well made and the female as usual was very bland compared to the every wonderful Guy Pierce. But an enjoyable movie.
Gone. Rubbish. Woman looked liked she was on the verge of an epileptic episode all throughout.

Feraz: yeah.....another marvel fan i know after you.....not trying to divert from the topic but i believe his father can wield it....that is jor el.....
From what i read on wiki, superman can't wield it because he doesn't have the killing intent.....seems like the hammer can perceive those who would be ready to kill.....

Nah, just that Vieira is more capable of keeping track of the comic world. Me, i get lost sometimes.
Like him, though i'm big on DC too. Being that my most favorite hero is from DC world but then, my worst is also from there. Lol

I don't think though, that the killing intent is the key. After all Captain America is the ultimate Boy Scout. Superman, has dark edges.
TV/Movies / Re: What Was The Last Movie You Watched - Part 2 by iice(f): 3:48pm On Jun 18, 2012
Source Code. Prolly why it took so long for me to watch it. Good outline, shitty execution. Enough with the insipid/scattered characters abeg. Overall, bleh.

Red Tails. Could do with some tweaks but not a bad movie. Neyo overdid it. And how come Method Man always gets roles where as Redman is the better actor?? Gah.

Hysteria. Hysterical. Nothing like the bewilderment the stiff upper lip brits express when hit with something totally uncomfortable. Loved it.

@Vieira,

Superman Vs The Elite ~ Last part seemed more like something Batman would do. Maybe Batman robbed off on him. I can only hope. Superman can be dense sometimes. Pretty decent movie though.
Get the Gringo ~ looooool aswerigawd, if na so prison dey eh. Enjoyed it.
Extremely loud and Incredibly Close ~ I got bored in some places but overall, a nice tale. Kudos to the child actor.
TV/Movies / Re: What Was The Last Movie You Watched - Part 2 by iice(f): 2:52pm On Jun 11, 2012
Lmao Vieira!
You can add
1. How did those two guys get lost in the first place since one programmed those bot things to scan the area? When he had already followed it once to take them to the first room.
2. Why is it the crew in the ship did not access the video feed to see what happened to those two guys but decided they had to see what happened by going into the dome?
3. How can you go into another solar system with no knowledge of what is there and not take a ship equipped to level a whole planet?
I think Dave's programming was to find a way to save his 'father'. But yes, his actions with infecting the scientist didn't even make sense when the follow-up had nothing to do with him.
I didn't understand Elizabeth's character. She seemed too weak, not capable of the emergency surgery she did on herself. Her character had no focus. No skeleton to say. Even the flash backs didn't hint at what she's made up of.

Feraz: seriously speaking, haven't seen or read about any lady that enjoys watching cartoon except you and iice.... smiley
when did those mentioned above do that......

Sorry man. Kinda lost my marbles abit. I blame Prometheus. Meaning, there are more who have wielded Mjolnir. Just have to wade through my brain to remember most of them. Superman was temporarily allowed to wield it by Odin. (Automatic response of mine is No when it comes to Superman tongue) I'm not referring to cartoons but comics, which gets confusing sometimes.

My best superhero. Batsy as Joker would call him.
Hobbit of course. Big fan of Tolkien or rather the world of Middle Earth.
Maybe spiderman. Still skeptical about that.
Brave ~ Love animation
Premium Rush looks exciting but who knows.
Gah, forgotten the name of the film with Cillian Murphy, Sigourney Weaver and Bob De Niro basically coz i love Cillian Murphy and he's always top notch with his acting.
TV/Movies / Re: Can Superman Lift Mjolnir? by iice(f): 4:07pm On Jun 07, 2012
No. Yes strength is needed, but importantly only those deemed worthy can wield it. So far only Captain America, Beta Ray Bill, The Red Norvell and Thor have wielded it. Gah. Soo geeky lol.

Gotta agree Vieira with your review. My thoughts were mostly And my brother and I kept pointing out holes in the plot that shouldn't have existed. My highlight was that for the first time in ages, the theater was quiet. None of those useless talking the said film watchers do. I guess people were trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
