First thing that came to my mind--I know they also both produce movies, but I think of them first and foremost as directors. Scorcese's got the better track record. For "Goodfellas" and "Casino" alone, I'd say he's the king of the organized crime genre. Adding "The Departed" proves the point. Mann has made incredible movies like "Heat" too, but[b] I don't think he's got Scorcese's consistency[/b].

Word!! though i still like both their works.

@TOH i think we got similar tastes, am not into flowers too but i'd take the tiger lilies or orchids over the long stemmed roses ughhhh.
