Same here. I watch Nollywood though for some light hearted entertainement. Who can't but laugh at some of the sotrylines and acting; People undergoing brain surgery but with no plaster  or drip and people being shot on the left side but they clutch the right side and so on 

I also listen to Gospel music when I'm down. Josh Groban's "You raise me up" always features highly in my feel good music list.

Half an hour on the treadmill listening to a good sermon or music also does a lot of wonders to my spirit.

Thanks iice for the advice.

I have been taught right from my first day on earth to be dependent on my parents. Not just dependent, but excessively (extremely) dependent on them.

First, I was made to know that I have to trust them, which I find no objection to. Recently, say from ten years ago before I even got out of secondary school, I started loosing faith in them 'cos my secrets with them were been let to outsiders. I would tell them (based on trust) about everything I was goin' through, only for me to hear it somewhere else. That was so embarrasing. Imagine that!

Now, I'm going about seeking independency and asking faithful N'landers for good advices (which I have gotten so far) and creating a platform to execute all I have been able to gather. I think that's a nice step.

I've got to be strong and hold on to my own,  I know it will take a longer time to achieve what I have set out to do, it'll definitely be a reality.

Keep praying for me. I love your advice, so I am taking my time. Thanks.

Well parents are humans, they make mistakes and sometimes, we might really get mad at them, they try to do their best through us (well mostly), though not always the right way.

I got stew, rice, pesto pasta, linguine allo scoglio, suya, roasted salmon, baby back ribs, lasagna (yes we love italian food)

On a serious note,First be very well assured that its perfectely natural for you to be low some days,Life itself is an emotional roller coaster.Spend time with people you love,people that make u smile,positive people.You might want to change your enviroment,engage in a hobby or something u have been dying to do,go on holidays or take a break from work/everyday routine.start a dancing class,learn how to play a musical instrument,sing . . . .just be engaged physically and emotionally,DONT STAY IDLE.
