This statement you made really suggests you’ve been drawn into this and played along without fully thinking it through.

If this escalates legally, what verifiable evidence do you have to back yourself up? It’s also clear that others involved may not stand by you if things go sideways.

Believe me it can never go the legal way. They can only use police to threaten him, but that case can never go to court (well, unless they have evidence that the guy actually stole)

The worst they can do to him is terminate his appointment. As long as his hands are clean they are only setting themselves up for trouble if they take that case to court.

The burden of proof is on them to prove that the guy is guilty and not on the guy to prove that he is innocent. let them bring their evidence.

I have raised concerns regarding the lack of formal role assignment and absence of full control over the inventory, but these concerns have not been acknowledged.

Given these circumstances, I would greatly appreciate guidance on:

- My level of liability in this situation
- The implications of not being formally assigned the Storekeeper role
- The impact of shared or limited access to warehouse stock
- The best steps to take in protecting myself professionally and legally

But as for pressing charges, it's just a threat, they know they don't have any case. And if they do, get a good lawyer to defend you and after winning the case you now press your own charges against them for causing you emotional trauma and damaging your reputation by accusing you of what you didn't do. Thanks a lot for this. It’s a T-20 MBA and plan is to use my OPT to work there for 2/3 years and head back to Canada.

This might be coming late. I think you should listen to the people that talked earlier. With your Nigerian passport every benefit from the US government is presently on hold.

Even the students that just graduated now are stranded because processing of OPT and even CPT (which you get as a student o) are both on hold.

Although they are authorized to be in US for as long as it takes them to process the OPT (even if 10 years) but THEY CAN'T WORK until their EAD is out.

So that your OPT plan e get as e be unless of course, the ban is lifted. Many people are hoping things might change after the mid-term election though when the Dems in the house will be able to dictate things better.

Even as an APC Member,i think the interference on the opposition by the ruling party is becoming a source for concern.The Energy being used to bring down opposition should be channeled to fixing the economy.

A bit of education just in case you didn't know. SDP and NRC were dissolved. So nobody switched from any of them. For 1993 election new political parties were newly registered, nobody belonged to any party before then

Tinubu pulled out of AD to form ACN (The only time one could argue he decamped to another party). Take note though, that he built the party from scratch, he didn't hijack or bought existing party and now begging the members to give him free Presidential ticket. He started calling the shots from the go because na him own the party.

ACN formed coallition with other parties to form APC. Nobody defected because there is no more ACN, CPC,and nPDP
