Nigeria After Biafra by Chinonyelum Nono Osuji. This is a trailer for my short documentary entitled Nigeria after BIAFRA. I am a first generation Nigerian American. My parent's came here primarily because their side lost the war. In the process of trying to find a connection to my mother land I discovered that the conflict and division that started the Biafran War and genocide still exists today. This film explores how far Nigeria has come since Biafra and what the future of the country might be. Teaser https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWLMA-ywOOQ

This is not in any particular order but and some films can be watched on Vimeo. True Story Nollywood by Ihuoma Mambo Atanga. It's a film on how much of our culture is reflected in Nollywood films and how non-Nigerians perceive us through our films. It also touches on the growth and progress of our movies, including interviews and discussions with renowned film makers such as Tunde Kelani, Oliver Mbamara and Michael Nwaesei. Its not out yet but I'm looking forward to it. Teaser http://vimeo.com/maqproductions/truestorynollywood

Oh my, this is really good. A movie that does not focus on runs girls, corny romance or confusing crime/thriller films ![]() They did put in a lot of work although I could make out the car crash scene was digital and the flash of light from the guns didn't fall right or bright for no damn reason. But good acting, intense, I like it! Thanks VillageBoi ![]() |
^Yeah I felt the same but I enjoyed the film so much that this minor screw up was brushed aside ![]() |
Hi CFC ![]() Are you done with the others? Why don't you recycle, it saves energy ![]() |
Never wondered before but now I do ![]() |
