Hello wonderful moms! I am a May mom heading to Atlanta on April 1st at about 35 weeks (though my final destination is GROVETOWN, Augusta, Gerogia). I am however a little bit confused about booking for my ticket. I saw Air France ticket on Travel Start for N284,000 but an agent is giving me a quote of about N360,000. I told him about the price on Travel start but he said if I want to book for that ticket, I have to have a Shengen visa. Has anyone experienced this? Kindly advise. My travel date is April 1st to June 25th.

You don't actually need a Schengen to fly Air France so far u have either American or UK visa on ur passport shikena. Unless it's a new policy. Still flew Air France in October last year and I didn't have Schengen.

Have never flown them to the US but a frequent flyer to Istanbul and I always enjoy my flight each time. Very considerate and ok airline though. And they can carry as much load as you want so far u can muddle them all by urself to the aircraft. They don't really care how many or how much ur hand luggage weigh so far u can carry them by urself. Its the online airline I have flown that know that Nigerians like to carry load both going and coming back so they have no qualms. My experience so far.

[quote author=Enizo post=42903779]Hello just to announce my wife just left for houston some hours ago.
PTA obtained from stanbic p 210.

Wifey got an upgrade from economy to b class I still don't understand this part though she flew airfrance and she was told stuff about sky priority.

POE has been handed over to God will give details once she's through it and please if any one understands how she got the upgrade pls tell me.[/quot

If she's a frequent flyer of Air France/KLM she probably must have been registered for the loyalty programme whereby you accumulates points for miles covered within a specific. Period.

They have different categories of levels you could be at based on how frequent you fly them just like most international airline belonging a particular loyalty programme. For example I belong to Turkish air Miles and Smiles and I get upgraded each time I fly them unless the business class is fully booked. So I am pretty sure she got upgraded based on the fact that she has accumulated a lot of points from her previous trips with the airline and as a way of saying thank you to her for flying them frequently is nothing but to upgrage her to the business class. That's a nice oooo!

No dear. The naira may be officially devalued eventually. the implication is that even PTA will be more expensive....

Find someone that is trustworthy in the US and start sending him or her the maximum allowable limit in dollars. they can keep for you or pay into your US account if you have one. I hear its about 210 per dollar. You will have to queue though...this one too is tough but my Yoruba people will say 'ati okere ni oloju jinjin ti mu ekun sun'.

You'd better be smart about it or hubby will take you to the hospital where he was born...i hope e no be villa sha...lol

Thanks for ur advice dear. But for some reason I find the last part of your post offensive. I don't take in easily to jokes like that. I don't find it amusing probably u mearnt no harm but I find it disrespectful.
