Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole has killed scores of terrorists in an airstrike on their logistics base at Tumbun Rego in Lake Chad area of Borno.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

Enenche said the mission was executed on Nov. 22 following intelligence which indicated the use of the location by the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists.

He said the location had makeshift structures camouflaged and used as a hub for logistics items conveyed through the lake and its tributaries for onward transportation using trucks/motorcycles.

According to him, the military, therefore, dispatched Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships to attack the location.

“Overhead the target area, a significant number of ISWAP elements were observed.

“These were engaged in successive passes by the NAF attack aircraft resulting in the destruction of the terrorists’ structures as well as the neutralisation of several of their fighters.

“The Military High Command commends the Air Task Force for their professionalism and urges them to remain resolute in the conduct of operations in order to rid the Country of all terrorists,” he said.

Bandits kill 5 worshippers, abduct Imam, 40 others during Juma’at prayer in Zamfara

Armed bandits on Friday stormed a Juma’at mosque in Dutsin Gari village in Kanoma, Zamfara State, abducting the Imam and about 40 congregants.

The village, famous for sugarcane production, has been a target of the kidnappers.

Credible sources in the village told DAILY NIGERIAN that the attackers, who came astride over 100 motorcycles, killed 5 worshipers and injured several others.

DAILY NIGERIAN learnt that their sporadic gunshots created stampede midway into the prayer, causing the Imam to cut short the session at first Rakaa.

The Imam, simply identified as Mallam Yahaya, was then taken on a motorcycle into the bush alongside at least 40 other worshippers.

A source in the village, Sani Kanoma, told DAILY NIGERIAN that the Imam and some other worshippers were later released on Saturday.

Mr Kanoma said the targets of the kidnappers are the rich sugarcane farmers, who pay millions of naira in ransom.

When contacted, the spokesman for Zamfara State Police Command, Mohammed Shehu, said he would give detail of the incident on Sunday.

Did Jesus Christ say anything specific about our having different rules as far as setting up a "Christian" home from the ones He stipulated for all of His followers to live by?
Believing in Jesus Christ, grants you eternal life but not all those who are saved go on to become Born again, living their lives according to the Commandments of Jesus Christ Himself.
Not according to Jesus Christ. Once you ask God for forgiveness, your sins are forgiven you, and that is what matters in the Kingdom of God.

Jesus Christ never commanded against the drinking of Alcohol... in fact, He gave them one rule as far as what to eat/drink. He told them that it is not what you eat that makes you unclean... it is what comes out of your heart that does that to you. That said, do not add or remove from the rules that He has made for His own.
Jesus Christ never instructed His disciples to teach anything else but the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven. That said, He did not instruct anyone to teach the children anything else. If they ask, tell them exactly what Jesus Christ taught and nothing more since the Kingdom of God already belongs to them anyway.
This is not according to Jesus Christ's teachings or commandments at all.
The only thing all followers of Jesus Christ ought to embrace is the obedience of every single commandment as stipulated by Jesus Christ Himself.
