Dear Seun,

I Commmend your effort at flushing out tribal profiling from NL.

However in the past few weeks, one Self acclaimed Gen. Ditari President of Ijaws on Nairaland has polluted the politics section of NL with provocative Topics and the mods have largely ignored him.

Please look into it,

Dear Seun,

I wholeheartedly commend your relentless efforts in combating tribal profiling on Nairaland. Your dedication to fostering a respectful and inclusive community is truly commendable.

Nevertheless, I feel compelled to bring to your attention a matter that has been persistently affecting the politics section of NL in recent weeks. A self-proclaimed General Ditari, purportedly representing the Ijaws, has been consistently introducing provocative topics that have unfortunately gone largely unaddressed by the moderators.

I trust in your commitment to maintaining the integrity of Nairaland, and I kindly urge you to investigate and address this issue promptly.

Thank you for your unwavering dedication to creating a harmonious online space.

Best regards,

Ijaw that's not more than Onitsha population in Anambra.

Why can't Igbo use their false population figure and become President.

AKUMA FIETE!

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF THE IYC CLAN CHAIRMEN FORUM LEADERSHIP (CENTRAL, WESTERN AND EASTERN ZONE) MEETING HELD AT IJAW HOUSE IN BAYELSA STATE ON THE 18TH OF JANUARY, 2024.

PREAMBLE:

We, the Leadership of the IYC Clan Chairmen Forum comprising of the three zones (Central, Western and Eastern) held our maiden 2024 meeting In the Jerusalem of Ijaw Nation and having critically reviewed, re-examined and reflected on the issues affecting our various Clans, hence this Communique thus:

1. We are heartily grateful to God Almighty for a triumphant transit from 2023 to 2024 in good health and sound mind amidst other numerous challenges before the above-mentioned Forum. We further calls for synergy between leaders of Council in Pursuant of our common goals as an indivisible entity.

2. Precisely on the 23rd of July 2023, the Ijaw youths, opinion leaders and founding members of IYC gathered to witness the most peaceful leadership transition from the 8th NEC to 9th NEC ably led by Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr which held in the Jerusalem of Ijaw Nation (Bayelsa State) through a democratic elective process.

3. With firm Hope in the revival of Council as witnessed in the less than one-year 9th NEC Administration under the watch of Sir Jonathan Lokpobiri Snr, we expressed great satisfaction over his visionary leadership especially on his proactive measures taken so far towards the liberation of our people.

4. Sequel of the above, we concientiously passed vote of confidence on the entire 9th National Executive Council (NEC) of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide for consciously passionately and tirelessly putting the collective interest of our people above Self.

5: On the Developmental injustices melted on Ijaw People by the Rt. Hon. Oboreweri Led Government of Delta State, we strongly and unequivocally backs the bravery statements made by the IYC National Spokesman, Amb. Binebai Yerin Princewill. We're gallantly very ready to mobilize and shutdown oil facilities and government activities in defense of our common patrimony.

6. In the ongoing political impasse in Rivers State, we wish to advise all political gladiators to forthwith sheath their swords for the general well-being of the poor masses devoid of ethnic colouration. The peace, unity and progress of the Niger Delta region cannot be compromised under any guise.

7. The Leadership of the IYC Clan Chairmen Forum are indeed confident that a better Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide is already here but not without the structures of Council, hence we submit that to build a more formidable Council, more priorities should be placed on the Clan especially in the review of the constitution.

8. Sequel of the above-mentioned, we passionately appeal for the constitutional recognition of the Clan Chairmen Forum during the review and subsequent ratification of the Union Constitution.

9. To recreate awareness, revitalize and re-echoe the tenets of the infallible Kaiama Declaration at the grassroots, we've resolved to hold a Clan Chairmen Conference scheduled 30th of March 2024 in Rivers State.

10. On a courtesy call to Comrade Peres Ineife, the Chairman, IYC Central flank of Ijaw Nation, we Congratulated him on his election victory and commended his zeal, passion and hospitality. We noted areas of collaboration for a better Ijaw Nation.

11. We enjoin Governments to holistically and radically review more sustainable programmes aimed at alleviating the suffering of the Youths. We equally advise Nigerian youths not to resort to violence, crime and criminal activities but remain resilient in building a better Nigeria.

Wishing all genuine members of our struggle for self determination and resource control by any means necessary, a prosperous happy new year.

Signed on behalf:

Comrade Ebolo Samuel
Chairman, Clan Chairmen Forum, IYC Western Zone(Ondo, Edo, Delta Ijaws).

Comrade Edward Asikitams
Chairman, Clan Chairmen Forum, IYC Eastern Zone(Rivers, Akwa Ibom Ijaws).

(Bayelsa, Ahoada West Ijaw).

Politics / Bayelsa Guber Election!! This Would Be The Winner. by Ijoh(m): 9:04pm On Aug 03, 2023
Apc won the last Guber Election in the State through their candidate David Lyon.
David Lyon is from Olugbobiri Town in Olodiama East Clan.
Sylva from Okpoama Clan and former Minister of State for petroleum went to same Olugbobiri and pick Joshua Maciver in order to get the block vote of Southern Ijaw LGA the Kano of Bayelsa.

Sylva should wait for the next 4 years.
Even his distant Brass LGA, it is Diri that is taking road there.

Ijaws were unjustly balkanized into Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States when we are fully together and not even scattered by God.

Bayelsa have 900 villages and settlements under it.
Bayelsa is 10,773 km2 bigger than Imo and Anambra State put together.

Bayelsa is bigger than 10 Nigerian States.
Bayelsa is fully Ijaw State.

He has Hausa name too.
