I am so so sorry to disturb again at this time but, i really have exusted means where i can do this once more.... A guy asked me a very important question on this thread he asked if i was going to beg for four years? This question never made any impact on me then till i got to school.... I was naive, ambitious, determined and eager just go to school at any cost at that time well it turned out to be hell i have battled through extreme hunger to lack and want ( God be praise) my determination and strong will to succeed has got me going... I currently hustle in school to feed i do minial jobs on free days (not much of them).. I also do Ushering jobs at weddings (available ones) where we are being paid 2000 for our services, it doesn't come frequently though! I have to battle those days with some of my friends who offer to help at a time with food stuff..... It's never been easy since i got here but i still want to thank those who made this possible God bless.... I am in 300 level now all thanks to you all but currently my school's late reg is starting the 19th of this month and i havn't paid yet.. In 200 level i got my fees from this site nairaland it was a guy with the moniker '' lagtech '' in technology market who was to give out a laptop to any lucky winner on his thread i indicated my interest and I was announced the winner i sold the laptop for 23k and added some money i had borrowed from friends this was how i was able to pay my second year fee.. Right now i am having no penny on me i really don't want to drop out at this when am almost at the peak of my dreams, that's why i wish people can still help me raise my fees am so so sorry for disturbing one more time and am totally great full for every thing done for me here but i really need help again this time. I am beginning to think south africans are not creative! Had mandela been a Nigerian, 1. The corpse will stay in mortuary for five years to enable government prepare for befitting burial. 2. Government will setup a planning committee with power to award contracts to construct new roads leading to mandela's hometown. Construction of new airports, new stadium for burial reception. 3. The body will fly round the 36 states of the federation including the FCT. 4. There will be national aso ebi (uniform) imported from holland, it will be made compulsory for every Nigerian to buy, sew and wear. 5. New slang will emerge, for instance Yoruba greeting will start e ku madiba o, or eku iku mandela. 6. Our network will produce new caller tunes e.g to hear mandela's last breath press 1. To hear the last word he spoke press 2. E.t.c 7. New products will emerge e.g Madiba zobo drink. Madiba pure water, madiba magic soap/cream. 8. Our musicians ? Aaaah5 albums daily to praise the icon. 9. New born babies will be called Mandela. 10,The igbo man will start producing madiba t- shet, madiba face cap, madiba almanac, 11,All network subscribers will be charge us madiba ringback tone of #50, 12,Police will be asking motories & all suspect 'oya madiba roga'#50 #50 abi you know say we go do burial for mandela? 13,Igbo man will force every child born to.name mandela with there parent pay 50k for each naming, 14,Nff will organise madiba match with super eagle and Brazil, 15,Silverbird will organised mr mandela pargent, m 16,Madiba ticket to watch senima, or 17,The christain will organise mandela night of last glory, 18,The musician/comedia will organize all madiba stars show gate fee 20000, vip 200,000, vvip 500,000, 19,All the next contract awarded will call madiba for tranfomation contract, The youth will organise madibas nite award, 20,All 36 state governor will host madiba lying in state, @ the end $49 billion will be spent on mandela burial ceremony, we will be told they host world leaders like obama, bush, ban kimo & 200 head of state, Thank god mandela "madiba" is not a nigerian |

PLANS may be underway by some Nigerian students to organise from Tuesday, a mass protest aimed at highlighting the woes bedeviling public education in the country. Organised by the Joint Action Front (JAF), the protesting students in the South- West zone may block all roads leading to Lagos State tomorrow. According to JAF, the protests, which will kick off at the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) office at Yaba, Lagos at 8 a.m., will also include zonal rallies in Kano, Ibadan, Owerri, Calabar, Abuja, among others. According to JAF, the aim is to draw attention to the bleak future that awaits Nigerian children due to the neglect of public education, “while children of top politicians and government officials are trained in private schools in Nigeria and abroad with funds looted from public coffers.” The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had, on July 2, declared an indefinite strike over unresolved issues contained in the 2009 FG/ASUU Agreement. The union took the decision “after exhausting all available avenues,” when the Federal Government breached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) they both signed in January 2011. One of the contentious issues was the non-payment of Earned Allowances. But the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Julius Okojie, swiftly criticised ASUU’s action, describing it as unfortunate and capable of destroying the university system. Okojie told The Guardian: “They (universities teachers) get their salaries. On the issue of allowances, why can’t they persevere? The government did not say it would not pay. What we said was that not all lecturers are entitled to earned allowances. The figure they (ASUU) came up with was huge and we said there was a need for harmonisation, because not all of them were entitled to it. We needed to determine which lecturer deserves to get the Earn Allowance.” However, a meeting organised by the Federal Ministry of Education to resolve the issue ended in a deadlock. A senior government official was quoted as saying that it was impossible for the Federal Government to implement the MoU. The union has also vowed not to suspend the strike until its demands are met. |
