CyberWolf:Funny, but you ibos can lie. chaii. A Yoruba governor was the first to denounce the bill. A Yoruba newspaper focus our attention on the bill. A Yoruba state was the first to ban Fulani. What your cowardice governors couldn't do, Yorubas have done it. Obiano's scary ass only talked after Oyo gov spoke against it. Miracle center product. |
SeverusSnape:Back to my question; Why is it important for a SEner to support a Fulani thief? |
omenka:You dey talk of those hungry children? How about that agbaya oloribasket Ben Bruce? |
SeverusSnape Back to my question; Why is it important for a SEner to support a Fulani thief? |
Sunnynwa:Before making noise in my ears, answer this question; is GEJ blameless? |
SeverusSnape:And your misfortune continues. Back to my question; Why is it important for a SEner to support a Fulani thief? |
SeverusSnape:It's funny how you're taking this Saraki issue soooo personal. Even praying to a god on his behalf. If you don't know, your god cannot undo what Oduduwa has done for me and what he'll continue to do for me. Your constant wailing for us to 'leave fulani man alone' makes no sense when the Fulani man didn't develop your land. Which kain gbese be that? |
BeardedMeat:No, because I expect them to clean up past administration mess. I expect to start seeing real result in 2 years. You can't expect Buhari to do in 1 year what GEJ couldn't do in 6 years. |
SeverusSnape: SeverusSnape:You just wait right there with your Saraki-sponsored tissue and wait for me to dig through all 10k of your 'leave fulani man alone' posts. One would think Saraki sponsored your education with the amount of wailing you do on Saraki threads. |
agabusta:I am not arguing with you about Ondo's mismanagement, so save the unnecessary long epistle for another thread. Like Bayelsa like all 36 state. My grouse with you is your thought process. Ondo shouldn't stop working or stop diversifying its economy because of current salary issue. If Ondo does, una cry. If Ono, doesn't, una still cry. Are you from Ondo? Do you currently live in Ondo? Had you taken time to read and digest the article, you'd have read where they stated that FG had to give Ondo permission to start exploiting Bitumen. Because of fear of how Ondo would grow, being that it's the largest host of bitumen resources in the world, they've been delaying the process. Clueless shoeless GEJ delayed the permission process further. Ondo couldn't have started mining without permission. |
Bayelsa is a Yoruba PDP state - IPOBS I wonder how they're going to deflect attention from this one. |
SeverusSnape:Confused? To answer your question; You. Or what do you call your 24-7 'Leave Fulani man alone' cries? |
SeverusSnape:You and I? Please keep that 'persecution complex' to yourself. Kwarans who have suffered in the hand of Saraki's corruption are against him, so who are you, all the way from Abakaliki, to say he shouldn't be prosecuted? We start from somewhere. If Saraki is the scapegoat so be it as long as we start from somewhere. It's just so sad that you're dying for someone who didn't consider you while stealing. You complain that money made from Souther oil goes to Northern states, yet you wail when the same Northern politicians are arrested. Makes no sense. |
agabusta:Bayelsa is an oil producing state and it owes salaries. And so do many other states. Majority of Northern states are littered with almajiris that would rather beg than work. I doubt they have as many civil servants dependent on government paychecks as Southern states. I'm even suspicious of that stat. Anyway, like I said, he should pay his salaries but the inability to pay salaries shouldn't hinder him from diversifying Ondo's economy, which will in turn generate revenue (more money to pay salaries). That's a catch 22 in reverse. |
SeverusSnape:Saraki ain't the only one being tried. When it's Tinubu and GEJ's time, they'll know. We have to start somewhere. Supporting thieves like Dasuki and Saraki ain't helping your credibility. |
DIKEnaWAR:So how is ' Buhari sucks' 'GEJ rules' 'Buhari rocks' 'GEJ sucks' supporting the country? From your last post, I already deduced that I'm talking to a brickwall, so surprise me by making sense and explaining how y'all are supporting the country by supporting specific politicians. |
DIKEnaWAR:Was I expecting you to comprehend it? No. Was I expecting you to try? Yes. Give it another Try. |
SeverusSnape:The fact that you think Saraki is not a thief makes me question your judgement. |
SeverusSnape:Yes I did, until he started allowing thieves to empty both local and federal accounts like it's fu*king christmas. |
ShowYourCertificate:Any true patriotic Nigerian should support development regardless of party. Are you PATRIOTIC Nigerian or one of PDP's 40 laptops? |
Ganiyat72:It's such a shame that everything is Buhari vs GEJ to you guys. You're accusing others of the same thing you're doing. Instead of complaining vis twitter, wake your governors and senators up (SR gave you their numbers) to do their job. Buhari won't come to Enugu to build a usable road system, your governors are responsible for that. FG has responsibilities and so do your local governments. Make them work. |
agabusta:Yes, he does need to pay salaries, but it shouldn't stop him from diversifying Ondo's economy. And doesn't Ondo need to generate money to pay salaries or does money fall from trees? |
Sunnynwa:Had GEJ continued, things would have gotten worst. What you're feeling today is a global problem, not a Nigerian problem. Angola, Russia etc are having fuel/oil problem, so save the miseducation for someone else. Your GEJ and his 6 years of cluelessness should have diversify the economy. It took a Buhari government to actually allow states to start mining its natural minerals. I'm not making excuses for Buhari, but you can't expect him to do what GEJ couldn't do in 6 years. Use common sense. You think a magic wand caused this problem all of a sudden? 16 years of PDP mismanagement, including GEJ's years of cluelessnes, enabled this current condition. General security during GEJ's rule? Are you serious awake while typing this? Pipeline vandalism in the ND, Fulani menace all over the SW, bad road system, etc all existed during GEJ's reign. The only difference now is that people are making more noise about it either for political score points or for personal safety reasons. |
DaBullIT:when they're banned, why would people need to be on the lookout for them? Any Fulani found outside of grazing areas beyond the Northern border should be arrested or sh*t on sight. |
Yorubasgreat:The same PDP that's begging its members not to leave? They wouldn't hesitate to register a Fulani cow to round up their number. |
Yorubasgreat:Ignorance is bliss. Does kwara state have an emir? In your haste to point out Ilorin, you showed your miseducation. The current governor of Kwara is of Yoruba descent, his presence in EKiti would have solidified the union. I doubt you're Yoruba, because if you were, you'd have known that: 1. Ilorin is not Kwara, but a location in Kwara 2. Ilorin Emir doesn't dictate to 80% of Yorubas in Kwara, but to the 20% of Fulanis in Kwara. 3. You don't need to believe me, believing in yourself and who you are should have been enough. |
It took Ondo 5 years to finally get a go-ahead from FG to mine bitumen, so why is FG on our ass again? It sounds like they're trying so hard to find an excuse to shut this process down. Buhari, so much for economic diversification. Good job. Why does the Nigeria fear regional growth that's not situated in the East or North? Off topic question, why does FG get to keep 83% of revenues obtained from mineral exploration? APC, Tinubu specifically, it would be a shame to shut down a SW goldmine, just because of politics. I don't care which party does what, I just want the SW to continue growing. "The officers which will work in conjunction with the officials of the Federal Ministry of Solid Mineral Development is to ensure that all illegal miners are flushed out from the state", he added.Bullshit, they just want to spy. |
NSCDC Deploys 50 Officers To Check Illegal Mining Activities In Ondo State The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has deployed no fewer than fifty of its personnel to keep vigil on the illegal activities of miners in the State. The Ondo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has deployed no fewer than fifty of its personnel to keep vigil on the illegal activities of miners in the State. Fasiu Adeyinka, Ondo State NSCDC Commandant Sahara Reporters Media In a statement issued by the command's Public Relations Officer (PRO), Kayode Balogun, in Akure, the State capital, said that the action was in line with the federal government directive to check and curb the illegal activities of the miners belt on sabotaging concerted effort. The statement obtained by SaharaReporters correspondent further said the move was also in same page with the mandate of the federal government to diversify the economy of the country following the drop in price oil from the international market. He stated that the command has also worked out modality with the Special Task Force (STF) team in the State with proper sealed synergy with the Ministry of Solid Minerals and Development to chase out illegal miners sucking the wealth and resources of the state without approval. "The officers which will work in conjunction with the officials of the Federal Ministry of Solid Mineral Development is to ensure that all illegal miners are flushed out from the state", he added. The NSCDC Spokesman noted that the operations of these illegal miners riding on the shoulder of top government officers had always been a source of concern to the command mostly at the southern part of area of the State that had the vast deposited of oil. Balogun confirmed that part of the major drive of the State Commandant, Fasiu Adeyinka, over the latest step is to root out criminals who always masquerade in security uniforms to aid adulterated oil dealers by escorting them out of the creeks. He added that the command had received lots of complains about the incessant activities of the illegal oil criminals in the southern part of the State and vowed that their officers are battle ready to sniffed them out of their hidden place. Mr. Balogun who asked all mining companies in the State to ensure their activities have legal backup in compliance with the federal government policy stressed that saboteurs should rather stay out of the state or face the music of the law. http://saharareporters.com/2016/04/15/nscdc-deploys-50-officers-check-illegal-mining-activities-ondo-state

I think having SW governors under one umbrella is the key for survival at this critical period. Many Yorubas on this forum will disagree with me and that's fine. This is just my opinion. I don't care which party, APC/PDP/KOWA makes it happen. SW needs to speak in one voice. Imagine Fayose, instead of inviting other SW governors to celebrate the mediocre projects he commissioned, he invited people wey no sabi how Yorubas survive. He should have had leaders from the SW region + Kwara + Yoruba Kogi present. Fayose is causing a wedge in Yoruba union. He's becoming the modern Afonja of the SW. No matter which party we embrace, Yoruba is Yoruba. We need to start viewing Politics the same way we view religion; Yorubas first before anything. |
SamuelAnyawu:It's indeed nice, though I doubt you read it. Nigerian youths aren't asking why their state couldn't explore their natural minerals without FG's permission. They aren't asking why states only get 13% of revenues from mineral exploration. Instead of 'we hate yorubas' 'Yorubas are the problem', una should start wearing your thinking caps at this critical period. |
