Many people do not even realize some of the attacks that happened in asaba, ogwashi, agbor, igbodo, etc occurred not just because Edo people sent the military towards our home and started pointing out Igbo houses but also because many refused to demy their Igbo heritage. My grandfather was among those killed because he refused to repeat he was not Igbo and he support the Nigerian government. My grandad, sadly followed the "one niggeria" claim but when they kept prompting him to claim he was not Igbo, he refused and this f2kers shot him.
