You're reading the bible out of context. Tithe is from your income. The OT Israelis were Shepherds and Farmers and it is understandable why they bring there first fruits, a tenth of their harvests and offerings of lambs as offerings. In the NT there was currency......when the pharisees talked to Jesus about who should they pay tax to, the Temple or the Caeser. Jesus requested for a coin.......and said "give unto Caeser what is Caeser's and God what is God's". Here he used money in the analogy and not fruits........ Bros, Tithe is basically your act of worship to God. When it gets to God's house it will be used as God directs.

Now I know that many of today's Pastors are scammers and use tithe to enrich themselves. Well it depends on who and where you edge your spiritual platform on
