Why am I longing XRP with x75? I don't know. Maybe, I do. What matters is, it's in profit, but it's not my money until the trade is closed. The coin has suffered and I feel bad for the oppression the owner is facing.

It's been here for 12 years. If it was that bad, it wouldn't have lasted for a decade or remained listed on Binance and other big exchanges.

The decade long support line was broken, so it's struggling to get back. Let me partake a bit in the struggle as the opportunist that I am. It won't favour me every time, but it does most times.

I made this post on the 4th of July and posted the first image below when Eth was at $3131 as it heads to the 200EMA. When it dropped to $2830, I entered x125 leverage with more than I usually enter with and my liquidation was at 1.7k+.

Today, I closed the trade with profit way bigger than my initials. Why did I close it? I don't know. I guess I want it to enter the parallel channel it's currently struggling to enter and stabilize first. Maybe I know — uncertainty and controlling my greed in case the fed misbehaves from now till Monday. So, I have switched to small shorts.

The game is about taking risk when everyone is 100% frustrated and taking profit when they're smiling or about to smile.

As I said earlier, I'm not a trader, but a patient opportunist. Some people hate that word, but if an opportunity favors you without it being a crime, you're a wise man.

Even though I bought at 2.83k, I'm still praying for it to go down so I can buy more with my other accounts.

Having numerous backups is the only best strategy. Why? Even when you're losing, you're not panicking because you have backupsssssssss.

For you to know, you'll need to know 7 things

1. The cycle you're in. (Bull or bear market? If it's bull market, is it altseason yet?)

2. Current market trend, especially that particular coin and its support and resistance.

3. Tokenomics of the coin and when it will have token unlock or if it doesn't have at all to make sure you're manageably safe. And you must know the percentage of whales holding it.

4. Does it have bullish or bearish divergence?

5. Is alt dominance in lead over BTC dominance? If BTC dominance is leading, the alt pumping won't last. If you're day-trading with small timeframe, then no big deal as long as there is momentum or FUD (enough volatility in your favour) on the alt you want to long or short.

6. For long position, has the 5 Green day, phase 2-3 occurred yet? If no, then be patient. For short position, is the coin you want to short and BTC at oversold? If no, be patient except you have another trick. Also, shorting is better with a coin that has a bad tokenomics and token unlock while longing is better with a coin that has a good tokenomics and no token unlock.

7. As a beginner, use only x2-5 leverage with a tiny percent of your money. (Develop a good risk management and your personal trading strategy as you grow).

Every trader has different things they check. The above are some of the things I check and it doesn't take more than 5 minutes. It's easy.

If you don't understand most of the things I said above, don't worry. There was a video I came across months or years ago. The guy uses a system called CEST and I like it too. Search for CEST trading strategy on YouTube.

For me, I'm not really a day-trader but a patient opportunist trader. I'm like a hyena. I wait and watch for weeks or months for lions to kill, then I steal it and run with it like Tinubu.

Forget what anyone has told you about futures trading. After months or a year of spot trading, learn futures.

Shorting the market at the right time will favour you more than anything. Why? These exchanges are too manipulative. They delist some coins not because it's bad, but because they'll make millions by doing it.

They're already shorting it on other exchanges with highest leverage and even on their exchange. In less than 60 minutes of making that announcement, some coins will dump 40-60%.

These people are just making millions at the snap of their fingers. It's sad they're doing this to HODLers and this is why I encourage everyone to learn futures, but be strategic about it. If you can control your emotions, learn it so that you'll enjoy the full benefits of the 4 year cycle.

Read the post below and see how the coin dumped because of a manipulative announcement from Binance. See, these people can even decide to delist a big coin like ADA and MATIC, then relist them 4 hours later or 4 months later. That 1-2 weeks grace period before delisting is also manipulative.

It's to make those who didn't hear about the delisting news buy when the coin dumps 60% without knowing they'll soon become bag holders.

When I started crypto, that line not financial advice used to piss me off. One day, I read of someone being sued because the person lost a trade. This person that brought the signal didn't say it's not a financial advice. Now, it no longer pisses me off and I have started using it. You too will use it soon.

So Upset with These People

My married cousin, with 4 kids, has been to my house at least 10 times.

He does sleep over for 2-7 days. Back then, food wasn't this expensive. Also, where I stay is the most expensive place in Nigeria when it comes to food — even Abuja can't compare.

He came last time and spent 2 weeks with a girl. My expenses went up even though they contributed immensely in the kitchen department. They were cool and fun.

She's homely, a chef and she can cook delicious meals, clean, sweep, etc. I appreciate her for that, but I have lost my freedom. I can't walk around the house nákéd as I used to because of their presence.

This month, July, after the girl was done with her dad's burial, my cousin messaged me that he'd like to come over with her to spend some days.

I agreed because I don't want to seem like a bad cousin. I later messaged him to ask how many days he wants to spend. He said he'll get back to me. He got back and said 4-5 days.

They came on the 2nd of July, but they haven't left yet. It's now 7 days and I'm so anxious for them to go. Two Cyway water has finished. Food that serves me doesn't anymore.

Yes, they contribute, but I'm no longer enjoying it. I think I'm used to being alone. My life is more fun when I'm alone my myself.

I don't want siblings, cousins, aunts, parents, etc. around me. I love them, but I only want to spend 1-2 days max with people. Even if I'm fxcking you, staying too long around me is boring.

One thing that keep my portfolio healthy a bit till now is the fact that some of my projects recover very fast from dips and I take profit asap, so anytime I am introducing new USD into the market to DCA during a dip, I also add the profit I took earlier to the funds.
