I have noticed that my 2yr old daughter does not like to greet me. When she returns from school and the mother tells her to greet “good afternoon daddy” she refuses and if the mother insists she’d rather cry instead than say it. Again in the morning on the bed when the mother tells her to say “good morning daddy” she will refuse and if we insist she will rather cry than say it. I’m a bit confused because she’s my first child so I have decided to bring the matter here for more information and possibly guidance on how to proceed on this issue.

Set up: I live and work in Kaduna while my wife works in Abuja and the child is always with her.

At the moment I’m a bit concerned and I’m beginning to suspect that the mother may have been Training her in the wrong way! Should I be worried or it’s not something to be worried about? Guys pls your opinions are appreciated.
