Why are you Osinbajo' supporters scared of open contest? Someone who can't win primaries, how would he win the general election?
because primaries are rigged and are done by thieves. The main election determines the will of the people. You cannot use primaries to force a candidate on us.

Naivity of a political neophyte

They keep screaming North, North everytime without understanding diversity of North

North is 3 independent, geopolitical zones (NC, NE, NW)

North has 3 distinct majority ethnic group .Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri with many smaller ethnic groups like gwari, Baji, Nupe, etc

Point 1: North are more than willing to hand over power to South, just to continue enjoying One undivided Nigeria and access to Sea , Ocean and Crude Oil

Point 2: Abuja, Kwara, Plateau, Kogi, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Gombe, Yobe , Borno , Bauchi, Sokoto all have large numbers of Christian indegenes, which a naive unexposed Southerner calls Muslim because of names like Bako, Mustapha, etc

Point 3: South is also not a United entity so no imaginary North can divide what was divided by River Niger by God (SouthEast vs SouthWest)... It's easier for a Yoruba man to understand people from Kwara, and Kogi than it is for him to understand Ibo from far away SouthEast

.
now, there you have it another of their 'all-is-well' agent.... We know your games.
Politics2023 Political Game by imhesham(op): 11:56am On Mar 09, 2022
Please take this seriously.
I have earlier predicted how the northern powers will play the 2023 card and I can see everything I said playing out one after the other. For those who missed it, let me say it again.

1. The north has no intention of handing over power to the south and they are going to do everything to make that happen.
2. Note that north is not divided along partly line. The want to hold the power (Muslim -North) and can easily migrate to whatever party has the power as long as the president is a northerner
3. The game plan is to divide and rule the south.
4. They identify southern leaders with influence and vote power, they assign some prominent northerner to influence such to vie for the presidency (or promised VP position) with the promise that the north will suppose him. Note, they do this for different southern power blocks. The purpose is to divide them so that we won't be united.
5. They have done this for the likes of Tinubu, Osibanjo, Fayemi, Ameachi, Umahi, Orji Uzo Kalu etc
6. They line behind one candidate and give him their block vote to win the election.
7. They dont do item 6 glaringly. First, they bring up smaller northern politician of little prominence (who is also in the know of the plan) to pretend to via for the presidential position so as to reduce the suspicion of a consensus, these smaller politician eventually give up their presidential ambition.

Ignore this fact at you undoing. Let southern leaders open their eyes. North are smart at politics.

I am not sure but I think the consensus is Atiku (A Fulani man, Meyeti Allah grand patron and a Core Norther), He fits the plans. What you will most likely see in the coming days are plans to make him PDP candidate and also a lot of chaos in APC and migrations to PDP. Same tactics that ruin PDP the first time. You may also see APC divided among strong Southern presidential candidate.

Subsidy removal in 2012 was going to be N145/litre and oil price was $113

Now oil price is $40 /barrel and they say subsidy removal will still cost us N145/litre.

Who are you people deceiving

In one year GMB as giving us
1. Dollars as gone up to N300/Dollar
2. Electricity Bill has gone up by 40%
3. Boko haram still killing our people
4. Fulani's herb man killing people
5. Selective corruption fight. Only PDP leaders are the corrupt people - every other person who managed to rule under CPC, ACN, ANPP or new PDP are saints.
6. Every corruption allegation towards APC members is ignored
7. Electricity is as good as gone
8. Garri is the new gold in the market
9. Tomato is the new diamond
10. ......

All in just one year, Buhari's government has touched everything thing that can frustrate the common man.

I like the resilience of Nigerians. We will keep hoping until it is too late to act. That was what we did during GEJ until it was too late.

Buhari apologist, please list what he has achieved in one year that has touched the mass.

We really need to pray.
My people we need to pray o.

PoliticsRe: The Notable Difference Between Jonathan And Buhari's Subsidy Removal by imhesham: 12:03pm On May 13, 2016
koboko69:
Subsidy Removal under Jonathan;

Jonathans government announced the total removal of subsidy on Jan 1 2012.

The Facts;

1. Oil sold at 113 usd per barrel as at Dec 31st 2011

2. The exchane rate as at Dec 2011 was 1 usd to N 162.3

3. Jonathan's Predecessor actually dropped PMS price from N75 to N65 and was able to sustain subsidy whilst handling the amnesty program for repentant millitants till his early dismiss.

4. A more bouyant foreign reserve and growing ecomomy.

The government's major basis of total removal of subsidy was sighted as massive corruption. Rather than deal with the monster, the incompetence of the government was shifted to the masses. Many Nigerians were not ready to make the government have more money to loot, as subsidy was still sustainable at that time.

After the Occupy Nigieria protests, the price of PMS was revised to N97 per littre, with the promise of urban busses, building and rehabilitation of refineries e.t.c. It is interesting to note that the only partially successful programme after the subsidy removal was SURE-P because some Nigeirans benefitted from it without the "u must know someone" clause. Till the exit of Jonathan's government, we had no functional refineries, neither were new ones built.

Please note, Boko Haram was more like rag tag millitant as at the time of subsidy removal but later grew to a sophisticated, machine guns, tanks rolling millitant. So BH as an excuse is not tenable.

Subsidy removal under President Buhari.

1. Oil price selling below 40usd per barrel

2. Exchange rate of N197-N199 to a dollar and N320 to a dollar in the parallel market.

3. An ailing economy, with limited FOREX, and dwindling reserves.

The major reason for the total removal of subsidy by the current government is because of scarcity of Forex and an ailing economy. NNPC could not sustain solely importing petroleum products, and there is not enough Forex to give major oil marketers to handle the importation of petroleum products. It should also be noted that the present government have been able to tackle corruption to a fault in the oil industry.

The oil Marketters have now been given the liberty to source forex from other sources to import fuel which is the major reason for the high price hike.

The current government have made moves which will see the price of PMS drop in the nearest future. For the first time in years we have the Warri, Kaduna, and Port Harcourt refineries working together but some misguided youths amd miscreants in the name of avengers have decided to keep sabotaging the efforts of the present government.
There are also moves on ground to build more refineries.

In my opinion, the deregulation of the lower stream sector is right on track at this time and I stand with Buhari on this.

For now i see no reason why this government should not be supported, as they still have more than 2 years to deliver. Should the government not meet up to expectations before next elections, then Nigerians can't take their anger to the polls.

God Bless Nigeria.

FamilyType Of Nairalanders by imhesham(op): 4:47pm On Sep 04, 2015
TYPE OF PEOPLE ON NAIRALAND

1. ADMIN – These are the gods of Nairaland. They decide whose post makes frontpage, whose post is seen, who is banned etc.. Invisible but powerful and sometimes annoying.

2. POSTERS 1- CREATORS - These people are good at creating exciting topics that gets people talking. they are creative and have a good thought process.

3. POSTERS 2 - THE 'PASTERS' - These people are content creators too, but they are only good at picking news from aother site, blog etc. and pasting it on Nairaland.

4. FIRST TO COMMENT - These people are always fighting to be the first person to comment on any hot topic. For some it’s a coincidence but for many it has become a job. They sit on their computer and keep refreshing waiting for hot topics. When they get the opportunity to comment first, they celebrate like crazy, thanking their first and second generation, their phones, their internet connection etc. You can call them the crazy Nairalanders.

5. SECOND TO COMMENT - For some it’s nothing but for many they get upset because they have been refreshing their browser to get the opportunity to comment first. They are like the biblical cripple man by the pool of Bethesda, who never gets the opportunity to enter the water when the angel comes to steer it. They complain and sometimes curse out on the first to comment for taking their space. Some of them still celebrate their position anyway. They may seem silent sometimes but they are surely there.

6. THE 'SPACE RESERVERS'
- This people have nothing to say but just because they feel its a hot topic and want to feel among, they type things like 'space reserved', 'mtcheew','hmmm' or put an icon. When the topic is hot, they just can help keeping quiet.

7. THE 'CALLERS' -- when this set of people want to comment, they call out another nairalander. They go like 'oya Buhari apologist over to you', 'Seun over to you', ‘ where is lalai.. say something‘

8. CAMPAIGNERS - They are either sponsored by a politician or they are politicians. One side supports a politician no matter what bad they do, while the other antagonizes a politician no matter what good they do. Even when 'Callers' call them out, they are still back tomorrow on another post, supporting or antagonizing.

9. FRONTPAGE ADVOCATES - All they do is fight to make sure a post get to the front page, probably because they enjoy its content, it’s their post or they are the first to comment.

10. CURSERS-- These ones have issues with having a civil discussion. They will curse you even if all you say is 'hello'.

11. FIGHTERS - This one’s are always fighting with someone on Nairaland sometimes over annoying issues. They will not stop and will drag more 'fighters' into the fight. They are also always looking for already trending fights to join, which side to support and who to curse out. Many of they are also 'cursers'.

12. BIGOTED - It’s a waste of time trying to sell your idea to them. They are strongly opinionated and would never back down on their belief; they are also out to demean people of contrary opinion or belief. They are mostly found in the religion forum.

13. SIDON LOOK - They don’t comment but they read every comment; actually, comment reading is why they are on Nairaland. No matter how pressed they are, they will not comment. Nairaland for them is like newspaper- you can only read and not comment.

14. EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS - This people are not liked at all. They are very annoying and they post comment that arouse emotion. They seem not to care what you say, they will still annoy you. They enjoy doing it. Some of them have been banned severally but they will still come back with another username to continue their trouble.

15. THE PHOTO TALKERS - This one takes Nairaland so seriously that they purchased a photo editing software to express their opinion. They use funny illustrations and photos to express their opinion. The picture I find most hilarious is the picture of a squirrel raising up its hand with a caption which read ‘ Oh God dash this person below me sense’;

16. LAZY READERS -- They are not on Nairaland to read news, so when your post goes beyond 5 lines, you'll get their ' it’s too long, who will read this' comment.

17. MARKETERS - They are on Nairaland only to market goods and services. To achieve this they pretend to be interested in a topic, offer a lame view and then post another paragraph marketing their latest designer t-shirt.

18. PASSERBY - This one’s love Nairaland as much as to always visit it but have not made up their mind to join.

PoliticsTinubu Called The ICC Meeting Not Buhari by imhesham(op): 10:49am On Jun 11, 2015
New facts making the rounds at the national assembly states that Bola Tinubu was the one who called the meeting of the senators to the International Conference Center on Tuesday. He forcefully called the meeting hoping that Buhari will show up to address the people but was surprise that he did not show. Buhari has said during is inauguration that he is for no one and will not allow anybody to force him into acting against his will.

Let sheik Gumi say whatever he likes. One thing is sure, we well never vote in a northerner again. Not 2015, not 2019, not ever. They have had their last in Yaradua and that is it. Unleashing BH in innocent Nigeria is a sign that they dont deserve to rule us.

Let them do all they want, their end has come. Let them also wait for the consequence of their action. It will come, it will come hard and severe.

FamilyRe: Is It Wrong For Parents To Display Affection In Front Of Their Children? by imhesham: 9:16am On Oct 04, 2014
Do only the things you are comfortable with your child doing to others outside. Trust me, if your child see you kissing, he/ she will not wait to get married to try it out. They will attempt it even before they are 10 years old. They will do it on their siblings and friends because they have learnt it from you.

Parent should be able to differentiate showing love and showing sexuality to children. You can show your spouse love without expressing any form of sexuality in front of your children.
Science/TechnologyRe: What Technology Did You Expect Would Be Available Now That Isn't? by imhesham: 9:27am On Sep 27, 2014
generalissimo: My reasons dont even have anything to do with religion. Time travelling idea has been put into our brain by people who even know it aint possible. It's only possible in imaginations. They are puting the wrong impressions in our heads that the same things that have happened in the past are probably yet to happen in another realm.......just as we watch them happen in sci-fi movies.
Actually I think it might be possible. Scientifically, if you have a device that runs fast enough, it slows down time. If you have the type that runs fast enough it might slow it down to a stop and then begin to make time go backward ( into the future).

This is what poverty is turning Nigerian to. You are not asking for uninterrupted power supply or car that runs on water. Na generator your mind go. This is serious.

There were 115 prayer points and Boko Haram likely fall into one or two category. The bolded part of your comment seems like an attempt to deceive people that you guys fasted for 100 over BH issue, that's not true!!

I think you guys are misinformed. Since the BH menace became the way it us now. Pastor Adeboye have not stopped praying in almost all his public meetings about it. It was because of this same issue that all RCCG members were asked to fast for 100 days. What else would you expect a man of God to do?
