We support a negotiated ND republic because our people are there also. As far as they are allowed to exercise their right to choose, it is fine. But an ND republic that seeks to take our people as carved out by the Fulani military without a plebiscite will not work.

Ijaws can have an Ijaw only republic on their own land. This is very OK. But if it is a Niger Delta republic with so many tribes, then everyone had to agree on how it should go. This includes the Igbos indigenous to that region. I think this is fair and just.
