Nigeria is divided into 3 major protectorates - northern, western and eastern. The east and west lie in the South. So, since the time of Tafawa Belewa, the north can either team up with the east or west to produce a President or Vice President. It is still in practice today.

I think it respects the federal character law that encourages the spread of appointments across the multicultural country. That's why two southerners cannot come together to form a federal government.

Yoruba people must be mindful of the precedence Tinubu is setting. They need to start speaking up. This is not how to run a multicultural society like Nigeria.

You cannot have your people in all the key positions in the country. If they say they are educated, education should mean something. Appointments should be spread across the diverse country.

Even the western world is promoting inclusivity, that's why a black man could be the President of America! Every tribe in Nigeria has qualified and honest people. Leadership is transient.

The language used in conducting legislative business is not my business. My business is that Tinubu should restructure this country so everyone can control their security and resources.
