Anyone waiting for true federalism in Nigeria will be waiting a long time. It will never happen. The reason is that the North depends heavily on Government revenue. The North will fight vigorously to see that true federalism is not implemented. So where will the 'true federalism' come from? True federalism will mean constitutional change, which will mean debating it at the NASS where the North will vote it out. True federalism will never happen in Nigeria

By the time the country grinds to a halt economically and there is no money to share, the NASS and north will have no choice but to support true federalism.
