The Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) commenced a nationwide strike, yesterday, that could disrupt fuel distribution nationwide if not resolved quickly.http://businessnews.com.ng/2012/02/01/impending-fuel-scarcity-as-nupeng-strikes/?utm_source=&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=impending-fuel-scarcity-as-nupeng-strikes |
Anybody please? |
Please today and tomorrow might be the only chance to buy fuel. Let's post updates here on what stations are selling, where, and at what price. Personally i need to know if Total on Awolowo Road in Ikoyi is selling and if there is a queue. Thanks. |
Okafor's Law simply states that: 'A hole once drilled, drilled properly even when closed up can always be found and can be drilled forever. This statement applies to guys mostly (forgive the chauvinism); if u have been involved with a girl for a period of time and did a good job in and out of the bedroom (mostly in, ), the belief is that u can always go to the girl at any given time and sleep with her again no matter what situation arises (breakups, different lover, etc, ) http://www.naijaryders.com/forums/45391-okafors-law-male-female-opinions-needed.html |
Have to prepare again my thoughts on this one! |

Pastor AIO:Yes you have said it all when you alluded that it rests on how INDIVIDUALS choose to interprete the bible. So we cannot take liability for what every person interpretes, abi? Shikena. If you are looking for essential teachings that are unaffected by scribal errors, then you are in a different boat from those that take the bible to be literal inerrant truth.Triue that. but i think you will be very hard pressed to find ANYBODY who beliefs in that kind of inerrancy these days. what most of them will tell you is that there might be minor errores but on the matters of truth and salvaytion, the doctrine is inerrant . . . . . , . think that's what they say. for me, i dont believe in total inerrancy but what i say and i maintain is that looking for corruption in siuch trivia as whether Jesus sneezed or rather coughed before he died is justr wack and beside the point, IMHO We will ignore the fact that those essential doctrines are derived (by interpretation) from the actual literal words in the bible.again, u said it all pasitor. . . ."by interpretation" . . . . . . |
Lol, Tonye-T, that's cool, you should tell him that Childlikeness is not childishness. One is beautiful and pure, the other is petty and ugly. |
PA1982:The blame for that lies with those people doing the persecution or those people denying themselves treatment then dont you think? Just my opinion |
PA1982:All that I will ask you is simple - let us be CLEAR on what we mean by corruption. As Enigma has asked, is a scribal error or an omission a corruption? I don't think so. No serious person doubts that there have indceed been errors, omissions, mistranslations, etc I think the main issue that should concern a serious (not pedantic) mind is whether such issues are of any consequence in overall biblical doctrine. If they are not, then the critic is being trivial and pedantic IMHO the questoion you posed about the last words of Jesus is both trivial and pedantic because his last words are of no consequence to overall bible dovctrine. what exactly does it matter if this or that writer heard or transcribed this or that words first or last? It means NADA, and shock me that u will make an argument out of biblical corruption by refering to such trivia If you want to show corruption in the bible, what you should do is to show the OP that the bible has been so corrupted, mistranslated, added to, etc, that its ESSENTIAL TEACHINGS have become LOST AND CONTRADICTORY and if u dont do that then harpoing on about such trivia as what was his last word is just childish IMHO |
frosbel:Are you dumb ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It was Tonye-T that asked that, not me! I didnt modify nada! |
What were Jesus' last words on the cross? Matthew 27:46 About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" - which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Mark 15:34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" - which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Luke 23:46 Jesus called out with a loud voice, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit." When he had said this, he breathed his last. John 19:30 When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matthew and Mark are readily harmonized with Luke and John by reading a little further: both Matthew 27:46-50 and Mark 15:34-37 report that Jesus drank wine vinegar and then cried out again before dying. Therefore Luke and John record Jesus' actual last words, which could have been any combination of the two phrases recorded, e.g. "It is finished, Father; into your hands I commit my spirit." http://www.rationalchristianity.net/last_words.html |
