This happened in yenagoa bayelsa state, the police is even yet to contact the parents of the boy, I even heard that the police who short the boy came back to that same check point to resume duty the next day. Nigerians pls who will be the next to fire.

Am calling on all citizens of the federal republic of Nigeria to join me in prayer,for the Nigeria police force, who on Sunday hard an innocent boy short dead with over six bullet, two on the head one one on the both hands two on the belly. And the story the Nigeria police force is telling all nigerians, is that this boy was coming out from church with a bible in one hand and was smoking cannabis on the other hand after service just closed with close to a thousand persons at the road waiting to find a means home. And when confronted by the police officer who were at a check point few miters away from the church entrance. That you that is coming out from church why are you smoking Indian herb, the boy question them back that you police officer are you not also smokers of Indian herb, and asked him why he was addressing a police officer in that manner and try to apprehend him he then brought out a scissors from his pocket and stabbed three police officer one on the hand, another on the stomach, the other on the head, and also brook one of the smoke gun called gunner, trying to disarm them, so in self defence the fired him down, with six bullet no one on the leg. What a story

The poor here means those who are spiritually poor. This can be two fold:


1. Poor in the sense that they have a need for salvation and experience of GOD in their lives.

"You say, 'I am rich. I have everything I want. I don't need a thing!' And you don't realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and Unclad." - Revelation 3:17


2. Poor in the sense that they are Christians but yearn continually for a deeper relationship with GOD and depend on GOD for true riches, never taking it for granted that they are self sufficient.

"God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs." - Matthew 5:3

"Looking at his disciples, he said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." - Matthew 5:3

Tell me from the above, why are you guys always using verses in the bible out of context (almost like the Muslims do) to validate your love for money.

If you want to understand these verses in their right context, prayerfully read the bible.

However there is nothing wrong in having money, it is the love and worry of it that is SIN.

mark16:15and he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
so i ask a question how do we accomplish this commission without money.
we need the money, we want to evangelize the whole world for JESUS.

when paul was persicuting the church he tought he was doing the right thing, he was zealous of it, he later agreed that he did it out of ignorance, and when he was saved he stoped all those things
so if you think some one is not preaching the right gospel, there is no need to persicute them, you just preach the right one and alow the poeple make thier choice on who's Gospel the want to follow, you can not force poeple to believe what you believe.

It's not just a matter of interpretation, it's the emphasis. It's an indication of your motive. Because you want to 'hammer' big time grin you are so focused on the money, you refused to see the true messaage from Christ. Please take another look at the Luke chapter again. Some verses before the verse 38 so you love to quote will provide the general direction of Christ message to you smiley e.g.

30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

34And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

The empaahsis was on loving your neighbour, not on giving for blessings smiley My brother inedi, you don't need to worry about the hundred fold returns from your act of giving ( as long as it's with a sincere heart), just focus on the love you can spread. Thats's what Christ expects of you. When you preach giving for returns, you are not preaching love.
This is God,s word. and it is law, what it say it is , then it is, you can not change it. thank you

Thats all see from the Luke chapter, what you will receive angry As long as you interpret the scriptures to suit your desire, you will never get to see the true message. You need money, thats the problem. What you take away from the Luke verse is the overflowing returns you will receive when you give. You need to go back and read the Luke chapter all over, the emphasis here was on loving your neighbour, not the profit you make from loving your neighbour angry Encouraging people to give for return amounts to making them give with an insincere heart. You are not helping them.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abound, grace did much more abound:
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

so you don't also need to look for how you can gain eternal life.
The life that you received from God when you got born again is called eternal life, and it is a gift.

from this Scripture you can find out that it is not in any mans place to help God, He says when he comes He knows what to do
He has reapers, that will gather which people are true and which people are not, they all have their place.
So it is not in any mans position to point out which man of God is true and which is preaching the truth or not
when his servant asked him, should we go and talk against them, or tear them apart, what did he say? he said leave them.

When people say "just criticise once and move on", it is simply another element of the deceit or, to be more charitable, poor thinking. The poison and bile of the false teachers is being spewed and poured out in massive volume everyday and is always in your face. Even now that it is being met by some opposition, people are still being misled daily. Imagine if we kept quiet, soon people will be completely desensitised to the poison and bile and believe that the poison is the Christian norm.

Joagbaje comes here everyday, more or less, with one poison or other from Oyakhilome and intends us to keep quiet; some of his supporters are trying to blackmail people by saying they don't preach the gospel etc.

Only yesterday, Joagbaje ran away instead of being honest and decent enough to acknowledge that Oyakhilome was wrong to say non-tithers are robbing God --- since Joagbaje himself seemed to acknowledge that non-tithers are not robbing God.

The other time he came with another Oyakhilome bile that people should not pray to or through Christ. Some of his initial supporters slunk away when the nonsense was exposed. Where was the integrity to come back and say "maybe something was off with the teaching".

Joagbaje says we should not name call: he forgets he was the one who introduced the phrase "spiritual vagabond" to describe some of us. But "when God would catch him" he himself gave us the definition of "spiritual vagabond" and it turns out that Oyakhilome fits very well into the definition ---- hence some of us continue to refer to Oyaks as spiritual vagabond.

Nah, Joagbaje instead of trying to use style to shut up those who will not stand for poison and bile, first go and deal with the doctrine that you are have imbibed and that you are putting out here.

Also deal with your arrogance and pride: if you can come here, as you have done before, and say the apostle James was "a baby Christian" and that you and opaks Oyaks have more "revelation knowledge" than him, please expect nothing but utter contempt from the likes of me. If you drag Jesus down to your level and elevate Oyaks (or even yourself) above Him, as you often do, expect nothing less than utter contempt from people like me.

I have said it over and over and i will cotinue to say it, i believe in given, for me it is a revelation, i have experience finacial miracle as a result of my given, i mean mega given at any level, tithing offering, seed sowing, given to my pastor, given for church building project, given to the poor et.c
And if you are agaist given, especialy to men of God, let me ask a question, is that the gospel of our lord Jesus?

If God actualy spoke to her in verse 9 as you understand.
when the prophet meet her she would have just said something like ah! sir you are around, i have being waiting for you, pls seat, am coming let me prepare you the meal, or she would have prepared it awaiting the prophet, but you see all she did was of faith she had no  information on what was coming.

What you refuse to see is that God already has a role/job for her, to feed Elijah all through the period of drought! Where do you think the food will be coming from It could have been anybody.
