Everyone should read this and take it seriously.Dis Turkish scholarship came out last year and I applied and I was called for interview at d Turkish embassy in Maitama Abuja.Many people were also called for interview,probably u to 50 ug or more dan cos we were given different interview dates.Mine was d 17th of July.After all I did,all my suffering and hard work,travellin frm Lagos 2 Abuja all d money I spent was wasted cos dey sent me an email tellin me dat I had boin rejected.I cried and den wen I called almost all d people I made friends with at d embassy,they told me dey also got rejection mails.Turkey dint admit any ug from Naija.It was just one muslim post graduate guy dey admitted from Nigeria.Yet wen I checked dier facebook page dey admitted many people from all dose muslim countries.It hurt so much dat nobody even wants to know anything about dier form.Dose of u dat want 2 apply.Goodluck 2 u but I promise u dat u'll regret wastin ur tym and moni.Moreover,d fsb has notin 2 do wit d Turkish scholarship.Turkey is still among the bilateral agreement but dey sdmit ug anymore,just pg.Dats y in ur venues u were told 2 change it.The ug scholarship offered by Turkey is comin frmom dier own govt and it has notin 2 do wit Naija.I've spoken.

I heard Cuba only awarded scholarships to four people last year.Does that mean four people out of the whole Nigeria and 36 states or what?

Pls help me.I just saw that Russian link and it was written there that Arts and humanities are only in private universities.I chose law and now I'm confused.Does it mean that law students can.t get the scholarship to Russia?

My name is Yvonne.I also wrote the BEA scholarship exam in Uyo.I have some questions that have been bothering me.Why were they writing down our WAEC scores? What is the cut off mark? Will people from Edo state be selected 2 different countries or will they just pick a number of people and then whatever country they fall in is their luck? I mean-5 from Edo state and maybe they chose different countries or 2 from Edo state goin 2 Russia or another 2 from Edo state going 2 Cuba etc.Pls I need a fast reply cos m going hysterical.Thank you.

Pls help me.Am getting very scared now.I was given Obafemi Awolowo hall and I applied for hostel accommodation on Saturday.Then I went to pay the accomodation levy at Stanbic IBTC bank Akowonjo.They gave me my pin a day after and went back to the internet,put in the pin and posted now.Then it was successful and the status read completed.Now I went to check my U.I personalized emal hoping to see something encouraging but I saw dat my hostel application is being processed and dat I shud check after 48 hours.But since on Saturday its more dan 48 hours.And it hasn't bin approved its still being processed.Pls tell me.Am I in trouble?Did I do anything wrong or bad.Plks help me.Urgent answers pls.

I'm so sorry brothers and sisters on Nairaland.It's just that I still feel hurt about the false information that was passed on to me about the change of course form.Someone told me the form was #10,500.And I didn't fill the form because of this.But to the glory of God U.I still admitted me.I don't know how.Sorry,siblings.People could pass false information around sometimes without us knowing.Sorry once again.

I would like to know why some people are just so wicked.I call this wickedness.You're not sure of something and you're already announcing it to everyone and making them afraid.I'm referring to the person that made a list of the documents needed for clearance.Where did you get that from?Is it U.I itself?The one about declaration of age is so wrong.The issue of age declaration comes up when a candidate has no birth certificate and this is mostly connected with international scholarship.The one of a letter from two people is also false.Isn't it a federal uni?When U.I wants us to come for the clearance,it will be announced on their website,including the documents needed.Brothers and sisters,don't listen to any false information.Only listen to what U.I indicates on their website.Take care.

Hi,siblings on Nairaland!I'm in trouble right now.Pls help me!I paid my acceptance fee today at the first bank at Iyana-Ipaja.I filled the teller's form and wrote everything there but I'm disturbed because
1-When I wanted to fill the acceptance form portal online,I saw a part on the form where they wrote 'BRANCH'.Now I'm disturbed cos I don't know what they mean by that branch if it is UI BRANCH or IYANA-IPAJA BRANCH.
2-I didn't write U.I branch on the Teller's form.Was I supposed to write U.I branch on the Teller?
3-I'm more frightened because I fear that the Teller herself might go and pay that money into a wrong account.
Pls help me.I'm just so confused.Is there a problem now?

My story continues.After I replied to their e-mail by sending them my most preferred choice of courses,[Don't forget I didn't fill any change of course form]I recieved a message on my phone,an sms from Unibadan.This is the content-'Post ume Ibadan 2012.Congrats on your performance.Check your email for urgent admission status information'.I quickly ran to check my e-mail and saw nothing.Up till date,I've seen nothing in my mail box concerning my admission.Now I'm confused.Did I do the wrong thing? Did they get the reply I sent to them?Pls help me with answers.

Hi everyone.I'm new here.I am beginning to have emotional break-downs because of my admission status.I partook in the concluded post-ume and scored 61.I chose English Language but the cut-off mark is 63.I wasn't offered provisional admission and I fell sick because of that.People told me to fill the fallback form that it was #10,500 but I couldn't fill that form due to financial issues.My parents encouraged me to forget about it and prepare for JAMB next year.I have been studying for JAMB and I still am up till now.On the 30th of August,I recieved an e-mail from Unibadan.This is the content-'Dear Aigbovbiosa Osarhieme Yvonne,we hereby congratulate you on your performance in the July 9th post ume exercise where you scored 61 for ENGLISH LANGUAGE.We strongly advise that you indicate your preferred choice of course at least 3,amongst the advertised courses in Table 2 in the change of course details.Thank you.Admissions Committee.Unibadan.I showed on parents and we all thought they were still trying to tell me to pay the 10,500,so we ignored it.On the 3rd of September,I recieved another e-mail from Unibadan again.This time,the message was different-'Dear Aigbovbiosa Osarhieme Yvonne,we hereby congratulate you on your performance where you scored 61 for ENGLISH LANGUAGE.Pls urgently indicate your preferred choice of courses{by e-mail reply to this address} amongst the advertised courses below in Table 2 on the change of course details.This time I was happy because I wasn't asked to fill any form.I was told to reply by e-mail address which I did immediately.I chose my preferred courses and replied immediately.

Well,no one knows how many people will be selected.However,if you applied for science courses and most especially medicine,the chances are very low cos they are competitive.If you don't believe me,check the website yourself.And YES,selection will also be based on your performance in the interview.You don't have to be scared.Just pray that God will make a way and always pray to Him and believe him.By the way,why did you say you weren't sure about your interview,d ja chobo chobo?
