Osun youths love Davido

We now live in a world where most blacks have been brainwashed and have forgotten their history. We published this article to remind blacks of whom they were and to re-ignite the zeal for invention which was once the dominant urge.

Today, inferiority complex is the major challenge of most black people. And it is unfortunate that this has been taken advantage of. We hope that by reminding you or informing you of the great exploits of times past, we could heal the faculty of every wrong thinking black men and women.

It is flabbergasting to find out the desperation of some women. They go through unbelievable lengths to want to look like white women. You were made black for a reason and until you embrace the color of your skin, you won’t be emancipated from your self-imposed mental slavery.

Apparently, there is racism in the world. But despite this reality, no right thinking black man will feel inferior to another race or be allowed to be disrespected by another race. Before race, remember it’s human and there is but just one human race.

Now, we take you through 24 incredible inventions by blacks.



1. Automatic Gear Shift


The automatic gear shift was invented by a black man named Richard Spikes in 1932.



2. America’s First Clock


Benjamin Banneker – He was a farmer, mathematician, astronomer, land surveyor, and the subject of a Stevie Wonder song.

3. Automatic Elevator Doors


Alexander Miles – We’ve all gotten the elevator door hug and we all owe this man.

4. Blood Bank


Dr. Charles Drew – For his invention of a method of separating and storing plasma, allowing it to be dehydrated and banked for later use, Dr. Drew was the first black person awarded a doctorate at Columbia University.

5. Clothes Dryer


George T. Sampson – Giving laundry baskets a greater sense of purpose since 1892.

6. Dust Pan

Lewis Latimer – He also invented the carbon filament inside light bulbs.

Alice H. Parker – Forever changing the way Americans stay warm in winter.

10. Gas Mask


Garret Morgan – It all started when this guy rescued trapped miners wearing a hood to protect his eyes from smoke and had tubes leading to the floor to draw clean air.

Dr. George Grant – They say he was an avid golfer, but not a great one. Hopefully his patent improved his game.

Phillip Downing – Before this invention, people had to make a long trip to the Post Office to mail a letter.

18. Modern Toilet



Thomas Elkins – He influenced several major patents, but it’s this one we appreciate most (not to knock the multi-purpose table or refrigerators for dead bodies).

Thomas W. Stewart – He’s kept us off our hands and knees since 1893.

20. Portable Pencil Sharpener



John Lee Love – A carpenter clever with names for his inventions, calling this one the ‘Love Sharpener.

21. Potato Chips



George Crum – I personally love this man for this invention. You can guess why..

22.Reversible Baby Stroller



William Richardson – He’s also the reason wheels move separately. We feel certain there are fewer crying babies in the world because of this man.

23. Super Soaker



Lonnie G. Johnson – Being a NASA engineer is impressive, but we love him for inventing the Super Soaker!

24 Traffic Light



Garrett Morgan – Three cheers for the red, green and yellow. Mostly for the green!

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has revealed how expectant parents can detect the sex of their unborn child without going through ultra-sound scan.

NAN reports that the minister made this revelation during the reception of the wedding of Tolulope Ajibola and Kolapo Faleye, both petroleum engineers.

Tolulope is the daughter Chief Simon Ajibola, a former Senator who represented Kwara South in the National Assembly while the groom’s father is Mr. Olufemi Faleye also from Kwara.

Addressing the couple and guests, the minister said,: “I am so delighted to be invited to be the chairman of this wedding ceremony because wedding ceremony is a thing of joy.

“I pray that happiness will not cease from our homes.

Mohammed, though a staunch Muslim, quoted from the Holy Bible to the admiration of guests.

Speaking extempore, he said: “I will start my address by referring us to the Book of Isaiah chapter 4, verse 1 which says:

“The time shall come when seven women shall take hold of one man and say food, shelter we shall provide, please let us bear your name to save us this disgrace.

“So, I rejoice with Pelumi that God has given you, your own husband. I pray your union shall be fruitful and enduring.

“To the groom, I want to refer you to the Book of Deuteronomy 24:5 which says: When a man weds, he shall not be called upon to go to war or work. He shall stay in the house with the wife for one full year.

“I am going to speak with Mr. Faleye to allow you to stay for one year so that you can do your duty.

“I am going to end my address by giving you a valuable advice. By the Grace of God, Pelumi will be fruitful and give birth to male and female children.

“I am giving you this advice based on 38 years of experience in marriage with my wife, here, pointing to Alhaja Kudirat, sitting by his side.

“Whenever, Pelumi takes in and you want to know whether the baby will be a boy or a girl, you need not go to any hospital or do any scanning.

“Follow my example which had worked and never failed.

“When the pregnancy is eight months old, take a brand new N1000 note, put it in the navel of Pelumi. If the baby moves, it is a girl. If it does not move, it is a boy. Don’t ask me why.”

EKWUEME SQUARE DECLARATION 2018

Some of the Propositions of Ohaneze Ndigbo at the South East Zonal Summit held today at Ekwueme Square, Awka.

These propositions shall be known as the 'Ekwueme Square Declaration 2018'

- Nigeria Needs a New Constitution. The 1999 Constitution should be repealed.

- 1 President and 5 Vice Presidents from Each Geopolitical zones.

- Single term of 6 years for Presidents, Vice Presidents and Governors.

- Same number of states per geopolitical zones.

- Creation of one or more additional states for South East.

- LG to be scrapped from Federal Constitution.

- State of Origin should be scrapped and replaced with State of Residence. In a case it can't be scrapped. Any child born in any state in Nigeria shall automatically also have rights of state of origin of the state where he or she was born. Any person that have resided and paid tax in any state in Nigeria for a period of 10years also automatically adopts the State as a State of Origin.

- States should be allowed to manage Natural Resources within their territory.

- Federal Character Commission be replaced by Merits and Equal Rights Commission.

- State Police.

- State should be allowed to conduct Elections for State Governors and State Assembly.

- Simple majority must be scrapped and a candidate must have at least 50% of total votes to win election.

- Individual candidacy shall be allowed provided the candidate meets a certain minimum criteria.�����

Does it mean Tinubu or the Yorubas want to be victims the second time?

Please don't wonder why. The answer is not far fetched.
As it stands, only yorubas are flexible and have no deep rooted alliance in politics.
It is very obvious that the Buhari led APC government have failed and we need no soothsayer to confirm that.
Therefore, for the sake of our unborn generations, I beg the Yorubas to cast their vote wisely in 2019 and ensure that the disaster that happened in 2015 does not repeat itself.
