Have you scan the car? That should be the first thing to do before anything else

Yes it has been scanned after each replacement and the errors it bring up treated. Yet the problem persist.

We just transferred my car's brain box, nozzle, airflow meter and coil to another car and the car is working perfectly well.
Car Talk / Please Save My Car by influenz: 6:44pm On Mar 24, 2018
I have this problem with my car that has been persistent for over 3 months. I have committed huge financial resources yet no respite.

My car losses power i.e does not accelerate after moving for a distance. Short distance.

I have changed the four coils, brain box, airflow meter, fuel pump and the camshaft sensors have been checked.

Despite all these, there is no headway.

The vehicle make and model is Toyota Corolla 2003.

Kindly advise as this has drained my finances and am virtually losing my mind because of this.

Business / Which Telecom Service Provider Has The Best Customer Service by influenz: 1:16pm On Mar 24, 2018
I recently lost my phones and have to go through the hurdles of retrieving my lines.

At MTN Marina, the service was fantastic. Within a short time, I have gotten a SIM swap.

Similar experience with 9mobile Experience Center in Marina.

But Airtel office in Surulere is something else. They delay and jumped queue if they know the customer

Please share your experience.

The President publicly admitted that The IGP disobeyed his orders.

I never expected less from a force headed by a disobedient fellow.

How did we get to this? You may ask.

Let's join hands and make the right decisions to salvage our nation. Enough of all these name calling and tribal insults. No tribe is superior to the other. All we need is good people from each tribe to overcome the evil that has plagued our land.

I understand your opinion. Politics is a game of numbers.

Let us view it this way, it is the number of "good" vs "evil".

While it is true that a lot of atrocities are committed by those with the PVC, a greater number do not have. If those that currently do not have PVC obtains their and join the current number of "good" voters then "evil" will be conquered.

byrron:

Most of your assertions are valid but I completely disagree with you and some commenters on other forums who actually believe that having and using their PVC's is the only way out because those with this same PVC's actually voted in these bunch of criminals so what has changed?

Secondly, if 10 year old kids in the west, south and east don't have PVC's like the northern kid's then the PVC's of those in the west, south and east remains as worthless as a tissue paper because they have already lost the election especially at the presidential level even before conducting the presidential election.

If Nigerians are willing to sell their PVC's to criminals called politicians on election day for as low as a bottle of gulder, #500, 10 cups of rice, T.shirts, faze caps then of what use is the PVC then?

I was fortunate to be in a meeting with Jimi Agbaje yesterday. This the course of the discourse, he made us realize that people join politics for two reasons. It is either for SELF or SERVICE.

Without meaning to be unfair to anyone, we all know that most of our current politicians are there for SELF.

Be it known now to you that they dont care how you fare.

The major problem of Nigerian politics is settling power of money. These crops of people will amass such wealth and during elections settle those they can settle and reclaim their "SEAT" while nothing changes in the lives of the electorates.

I want to provoke our thoughts with this questions?

1. How much do you pay monthly to fuel your generators?
2. What quality of education do our Children receive in Nigerian schools (both public and private)?
3. The top end schools, how many of us can afford it?
4. If you have a bike crash now, do you think you can survive it like Yusuf Buhari did?
5. An Hausa senator exposed the way monies are shared in the upper chamber, I believe those opposing him exposition could be from either your tribe or mine. But when elections come they turn us against each other to fight.

From the fore going, it is time the NIGERIA YOUTH takes his destiny in his hands.

The first step is to obtain your PVC.

Remember, Nigeria is ours to Plough and not plunder.

We can no longer seat and watch these crop of people plunder our common wealth. It doesnt matter if it is oil money, cocoa money, Coal money, or otherwise.

Let us rise and demand for accountability.

Education / Re: These 4 States Produce Highest Number Of Medical Students - JAMB by influenz: 10:21am On Mar 11, 2018
The reason why there are few Yoruba students in the South Eastern Universities is that only a few apply for those schools. If you can be sincere, state the schools you applied for as your First and Second Choice.
ibadanfinest:
The list is absolutely true. On the surface it might seem a very good thing for the southeasterners but there are more to these

1Hardly will you see non south easterner is schools like UNN, Unizik, or in any of there university for that matter. so almost the whole mbbs allocated to schools in south easterner university are occupied by igbos
2. We the yorubas will continue to attract the best, let them list top 7 medical schools in nigeria we know the schools that will occupy them, we will always attract the best and post like this will not make us trubalistic. My own alma mater will continue to say no to tribalism and welcome the best from all part of the country. Am sure most of you know the school am talking about

I am an Igbo man. But I wont celebrate this.

Every nation usually have an ideology. This ideology is their driving force and it is what propels them as a nation for surmount all challenges that come their way.

While American political ideologies are variations on classical liberalism. As a result, these ideologies tend to be very similar: Almost everyone in the United States, for example, believes in limited government, the free market, and individual liberty, the British Empire was founded and maintained for purposes of trade and done so by private interest with the government providing support and encouragement where and when needed. The Swedish ruling party is Høyre. The party is committed to fiscal free market policies, including tax cuts and relatively little government involvement in the economy. It does, however, support the continued existence of the Norwegian welfare state.

But in our dear nation we have been talking about UNITY. Our ideology has been UNITY.

In Oct 2018, Nigeria will be 58 years. If this nation had been a butterfly, unfortunately we are still in eggs stage. We have not even hatched to the Larva stage.

It is true that these states produced the highest number of Medical Doctors. By the questions I will ask are

1. How many of them stay back to practice in NIgeria.
2. Most of these brilliant minds are subjected to be under so called graduates from educationally less developed states. Why?
3. After the hectic and arduous task of obtaining these degrees, what is the state of hospitals they will later work in?

My position is that we should not celebrate this. It is not an achievement because even the elites do not even appreciate the efforts of these students.

Why? You may ask. The case of our President and his son comes to mind. No Nigerian doctor is qualified to treat our elites. So why wasting our time? They wont fund our education.

WAY FORWARD

Let us all be involved. 2019 is by the way. Another avenue to exercise our franchise. How many youths on Nairaland have obtained their PVC?
And if you have obtained, are ready to vote?
Lets get our nation back.

Most of these our politicians have less than 20 years to live, but their actions can affect us for a century.

Mine is

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer
