Emmadgud: Guys am reading ur advises,and will still appreciate more guides.@ inno l stay in aba.nd the layers r 28weeks and l started feeding them layer mash d 6th month. My brodas wettin dey 4 layers no be small o,it can b so heart breaking.

If @ 28weeks dey produce just 12 eggs per day with 350 birds, something is wrong. About the feed, u should feed them in the morning and evening. The total feed 350 layers should consumed per day is 35kg (which is 1 bag plus 10kg of feed). and your water must be sufficient 24/7. then get multivitamin it looks like blood tonic, put 4 spoon of it into a bucket of water and mix with your hand, replicate it so that it wl b sufficient for 350, give them for one week. I blv u wl see changes.

Let me help you bro. No 1 thing i want u to do is to tell me how old are they in weeks and when u began to give then layer mash in weeks. It is not right to count poultry age in months although i knw that 4 wks make a month but not always.

Brineharry: Am havin d most stressful time of my career... I started my farm with 255 pullets and they were doing very well not until monday wen i noticed some were dull so i gave them antibiotics and in the night, one died. Later they started having cough and my vet told me to use tylodox on them which i did but their mortality increased. It was this morning after post mortein that he found out it was gumboro failure. I ve lost more than 100. I ve started aggressive management.. To me i take it as one of the difficulties of poultry i must cross..

It is a blood tonic and it will allow them to eat more. so u van give them this week and allow them to rest for another one week, then give them for another one week after. add little quantity (e.g 3-4 stainless spoon) to a bucket of water, mix with your hand and serve it for them.
So it nw depend on the numbers of the broilers because the water supply must be very sufficient. And i believe u should be expecting a minimum of 2kg of weight after the 8th week per bird.

Which means; dey'v taken gumboro twice and lasota twice also.
Now what u need most is multivitamin (like blood tonic) and when their litres are becoming too wet; u shld give dem embazin (coccidiostat: i.e prevention against coccidiosis).
