For me, it was my middle name omitted in the certificate. What I did was to:
Send a mail/contact form to WES, informing them of the name differences and that its still me. Also did a one and same person affidavit and sent to them via fax along with my certificates.
In your case, you may also try to contact your school to indicate the correct name in verification.

HI EVERYONE, PLS I NEED YOUR INPUT ON THIS. MY CERTIFICATE THAT WAS SENT TO WES LAST YEAR HAD A LITTLE ERROR IN MY MIDDLE NAME. IE TWO LETTERS WAS OMITTED. I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL I WANTED TO USE THE CERTIFICATE FOR SOMETHING ELSE. I IMMEDIATELY APPLIED FOR RECTIFICATION IN MY SCHOOL AND IT WAS RECTIFIED ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T GONE TO PICK UP THE NEW COPY. NOW WES HAS SENT VERIFICATION MAIL TO MY SCHOOL BUT THEY ARE YET TO REPLY. I'M JUST WORRIED IF THE NAME ISSUE WILL BE A PROBLEM. DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING AT THIS POINT? GOING TO COLLECT THE CORRECTED CERTIFICATE IS NOT FEASIBLE COS OF THE DISTANCE. I'M JUST CONCERNED. PLS HELP.

Hi, I sent my certificate to WES a long time ago and didn't notice that there was an error in my middle name(omission of two letters). I noticed it when I wanted to use the certificate for something else. I immediately applied for the correction in school but I haven't collected the new one with the correct name. My transcript bears the correct name though, WES has sent a mail to my school for verification and they are yet to reply. Do you think I should be worried about the name error??

Pls I need help oo, WES sent a verification mail to UNIBEN for about 2weeks now for my husband and I ECA evaluation and no reply since then. I sent someone to go follow it up, he said we should pay 8k each for electronic reply(16k) or pay 15k for hardcopy reply(30k). Please did anyone paid such money for wes verification because I'm suspecting that the man added his own. Pls treat as URGENT. Thanks
