1. You need to as a matter of urgency reduce your load, 400watts on the average is pretty too much for a one battery solar system. Get energy efficient appliances, all your load should not be more than 200watts if you really want to enjoy your proposed system.

Ok. Advice taken. But pls can u really highlight d implications of such load on a one batt solar sys?

By d way, u didn't answer this in my first post: Should I connect d panels in series or parallel?

2. Personally and from experience, i always advise 600watts Solar panels for a 12v 200ah battery though 500watts is still okay.

3. Whenever you are adding circuit breakers, first ask yourself what you are protecting against, for example, if i am adding breaker between panels and charge controller, its probably to protect against short circuit current from the panels. Then i'll add the total wattage of the panels and divide by the system voltage, that gives me the amps.

So u are saying in this case, d proposed circuit breaker should be 500w ÷ 12v = 41.7A ? So what value am I to look at? 40A or 45A?

4. I don't usually add breakers between the CC and Battery but people do it and its good. You can use single or double pole breaker.

Ok. So pls what factor determines d amp of circuit breaker here? Is it still as in question 3 above?

5. I will NOT advise you add one more battery to the proposed setup. Its better you upgrade to a higher voltage system like 24vdc or 36vdc or 48vdc.

Advice taken. However, if I do, pls what's d implication?

By d way, hope d 40A (12/24/48v) mppt charge controller is not too much for a 200ah battery?

I hv d following:
. 2pcs of 250w solar panels (mono) for a start
. 40A (12/36/48v) auto mppt charge controller
. 1000w pure sine 12v inverter
. 200ah batt 1pc (planning additional 1pc later, not soon)
. my load is estimated to be about 400w on d average: just TV, decoder, fans and bulbs.

Here are my questions:
1. Should I connect d panels in series or parallel?

2. I intend to add a circuit breaker between d panels and d charge controller, pls how do I determine d amp? And will it be single or double pole?

3. Is it necessary to add another circuit breaker between d charge controller and d battery? If yes, how do I determine d amp?

4. If I add one more 200ah batt to dis array later, will it affect anything already done in question 1 - 3 above?

5. With time, if I intend to add a deep freezer to my load, what must change?

just download any movie and search for d subtitles via Google.... Type d movies name with.srt it will give you many link to download d subtitle of d movie..

Interesting! I tried dis & gt some links quite right. Pls in what format wl d downloaded subtitle file be? And hw wl I integrate it into d movie?
