Heartland Unveils New Kits/ Hunt First Goal In New Kit

The management of Glo Premier League side, Heartland has promised cash reward for the first player to score in the Owerri-based outfit’s new kit wears.
The Naze Millionaires on Monday unveiled three sets of jerseys for the side campaign in the ongoing Nigerian top flight season.
Heartland top shot, Prince Okey Ibeh said the first player to score either home or away match will be rewarded with an undisclosed sum of money starting with the side’s match day 11 clash against Bayelsa United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.
“The whole idea to re-kit the side with quality wears is part of our concerted efforts to raise the profile of the team among their competitors as well as project the side professionally to the corporate world.
“The wears have the best quality you can find anywhere in the world and have the quality stamp of Italian kit manufacturers, errea.
“Though there is no sponsorship deal with the outfit at the moment but the discussion in that direction is ongoing.
“We want to change the altitude and mindset of the players to the dispensation of their duty and we have resolved to reward with cash any player that will score the first goal in the new kit wear both on home and away match starting with the clash on Sunday against Bayelsa United.
“We will continue to motivate the players to perform creditably well in the ongoing league season,” said Ibeh to supersport.com.
The three sets of jerseys are blue and yellow for the away matches and the traditional red dominated colour for the home games.
Heartland are expected to feature in the new kit wear against Bayelsa United at the resumption of football hostilities on Sunday in Owerri.
The Owerri-based side finished the 10-week top flight campaign on the eight position on 15 points from
possible 30.

Thats why U keep living in bondage and the whites laugh at ur folly. Keep carrying their own for head while the true fans over there keep enjoying the benefits. I regard all supporting foreign leagues as not been wise.

Their are many clubs selling jerseys out there, quality ones from the club jersey sponsors not like the EPL "Dubai and China" ones U guys buy. so go and buy and stop giving excuses. they even do deliveries eg Enyimba.

how many enyimba they for Nigeria league? We are talking about all Nigeria league.. enyimba cheapest ticket is not N500, pls who financed Eyimba club? How many club in Nigeria league sell share to the public... What make Enyimba not perform well under T orji? Tell me any club in Nigeria league dt have won d league recently that is not state government club? Even sometimes in years our league will not have sponsors deal?
That phase of Govt owning clubs would soon end before U even know it has happened. Presently it has been laid out how communities wud own their respective clubs or individuals, but U know Naija now, they are all waiting for who to start first before they join. From about 4seasons now, I don't think we haven't had sponsors and we will keep having. but mind u the "League sponsorship" thing is becoming phased out, like the USA league has done which the premier league wants to copy from 2016. so as Naija dey copy premier league, we fit join suit too.

Nice one. Back then, the number of fans following the Nigerian league was high compared to this era. The question is how do the club owners and league administerators sell the league to an average Nigerian. I could remember when my roommate and i wanted to watch heartlands match in Owerri back then when i was in FUTO. After reading on sport news how a refree was brutalised, we changed our mind because it was obvious that the security arrangement in those matches were poor. I feel with proper branding the league can be profitable for private owners but so many things have to change and improved on.
U see the problem? feeding on spoilt food(Bad info). our newscaster and Journalist dem na quacks, only looking for bad news to report cos it sells faster. but U ma no even ready to watch am, I really doubt say na cos of wetin u read, because Heartland home dey peaceful. So no just come here con deface am, its bad of U.

The major reason is that the league is not profitable. Private investments are for profits.
Not profitable, and Glo, Supersport, Joma, Dubic, Zenith Bank, Owu sports, Adidas, Capital Oil and many others invested. O boy U dey feed on spoilt food. Talk another thing.

NPL where every player is under 20.. so funny seeing most of them in the current flying eagles team tongue

Imagine the ref in the second pic blowing against the keeper behind him and you think he wont leave the pitch with several broken bones? NPL just like the economy (its in total mess)
This happened in the lower league (NNL) last season, and not in the NPFL (Top League). and they were severely punished for it. it can't happen in this era of our top league. Spotlight FC of Katsina tried something similar last week in the NNL, go ask them, them dey hear scores now. The League management dey deal with them presently.

I nor fit tanda for front of TV dey watch match wey be say players plenty pass spectators.

I nor fit watch league wey be say na home team dey always win.

I nor fit watch match wey commentator dey shout "seeeee shoooootttt".

Make them up their game!
Do u know how many games I watches on LA liga that has empty stadium that even a Lobi Stars match cud beat its chest with pride and say "this ones no reach"? even in Italy and France and Holland. Apart from their top clubs that do have filled seats day in day out, the rest of their teams na trampoline them dey take cover the empty seats cos no fans. Go confirm wetin I tell u so, but them no dey talk am out like U dey talk about our own.
And away-Win don plenty wella, abeg talk another thing.

because there is no money to be made, dstv dat made epl easily accessible to Africans yet south Africans follow the local league with passion , the typical nigerian fans ( excluding aba and kano fans), prefers to watch EPL. your 50 naira u pay in viewing centre gets to dstv thru subs, which in turn gets to Epl, which in turn gets into the UK economy thru taxes and consumption. Africans make una wise up o

football club 4 9ja is like charity organization that is why most club playing professional league in nigeria are financed by government... no Tv right, no sales of club jersey and other club tinz, people watch most of dr match for free etc
Update urself because U are still feeding on spoilt food. More than half of NPFL teams do sell jerseys, they have contracts with reputable jersey companies that make replicas for them. Like joma, Adidas, Owu sports, and a host of others. d lowest ticket for an Enyimba game is N500 and the stadium is 25000, do the maths urself.
No T.V rights? do U know how much supersport paid to own it?

FTC again. . i dunno about those mentioned points,,all i know is that u don't win away games in naija.else, u r dead as the ref.
and who said so, when pillars unbeaten run at their home ground started,it was after a home loss to julius berger in 2003. u are one of d bad reporters of our league,d whites have many errors in their league, but they dont say it out like we do over hear. u can say away-win ratio is low,but all that changed as frm around 2011 season.
