I have a friend who submitted their non immigrants renewal about 12 business days ago! And it's still not back. Is there a problem or backlog. It's unusual cause the USA visa process can be likened to clockwork. Any explanation?

This is a good development, and will really alleviate the suffering. But will this help in Lagos considering that most of the stations are brand names that also import PMS and won't buy from a competitor.Oando won't lift from capital oil neither will Consol Fort oil,Mobil. And they run most of the stations in lagos.
I hope this forces their hands to start lifting too.

Sorry to ask this question in this thread. How long does it take for visa processing at the consulate? DHL says 5-10 working days but I am also aware the US consulate is quite efficient and timely in their processes. So if I am on the 9th day is it a course for concern that maybe my passport has been lost in transit?

1, When would nigeria become eligible for 5-10 years non immigrant visas For qualified applicants as determined by the consulate? I was of the impression that this would reduce the work load on you and your colleagues.
