Pls help me with my dell inspiron 1420. I have been using the system for some time now. I gave a friend to use it over night and by the time i woke up He told me that my system went over at a point and didnt come up again. The issue is if you press the power button the system just blink the power light once and it wouldnt power on. I have tried to remove the battery and do little check it is all the same. Then at a point it came up for few minutes and when i use it for some time it automatically switch off and goes to the blink mode again. Please what can I do? what could be the cause of this |

Franky826:Its not as if Linux is immune to viruses because virus can come in different ways from malicious url to malicious email but it is much more secured when it comes to virus than Windows. Let say you are a person that would love to venture in cyber security (hacking and the likes) its very had to use Windows to accomplish your mission, windows isnt as secured as Linux. Yes i dumped Windows for Linux, firstly i delve into cyber security, again i love the graphic outlook of Linux and the total experience and feel of Linux |

Facebook is evolving, recently, they introduced reactions to comments and addition of ‘feeling thankful’ reaction to the board. Even, they are working hard to make their Messenger better, day by day by introducing new features. In a similar move, Facebook has introduced Live Facebook Audio as like of Live Video. It seems Facebook want to take over the broadcast market, as recently they have also announced the Live 360. Coming back, they have come with Audio only Live broadcasting. It’s use is very simple. Users will be able to broadcast their voices to any subscriber who may be tuning in. This is going to be a big feature for broadcasters, news agency, as they can directly broadcast the news over the Live Audio. It is a boon for broadcasters, globally. How to Stream Facebook Live Audio? In order to Stream Facebook Live Audio , you need to follow these steps: As like Of Live Video, go to Status Fieldset Click Go Live, The Video Live will open Pull the screen to left, or either click the microphone button on the top Tada!! The Live Audio of Facebook is here. You can add a picture to the background and can Go Live when ready Enjoy The update is rolling out to the devices, you would have received it, or you need to wait. The live listening can be continued while using the Facebook app, some other app, or even while phone is unlocked. cc mynd44 lalasticlala

In the wake of the WannaCry ransomware demanding close to €230($300) trending around the cyber space, I think its time we took some things serious especially when it comes to cyber security. The first is the issue of software update, according to my OWN calculation less than 35% of computer users I know update their software constantly, a lot of people are comfortable with the old or very archaic ones they use. I was in a big institution recently and to my utmost surprise they still use a Windows XP system. Imagine XP after so many updates by Microsoft and an institution is still comfortable with Windows XP. We need to know that the main reason for creating software update is not only to make the program more fascinating to the eye or work out a good UI design but also to tackle the latest malwares created by hackers around the world and the latest WannaCry ransomware is an example of such, it only attacks systems that are using previous editions of Windows (Windows 10 is safe from the attack). Since, it is the only one with the updated windows defender software. Another thing we need to do is constant backup of our files especially the very important ones. WannaCry ransomware encrypt files on victims system and there is a possibility of the user not been able to recover those files except they pay, Imagine a company been infected without a good backup? Recent arrival of cloud storage has made it easier for users to backup their files without any hassle its just a Google Drive, One Drive or Dropbox away. Our cyber security is very important and we need to work on our safety at all times because the bad guys are just a click away. cc lalasticlala

Depending your choice of institution but I am currently a student of computer engineering in oau and with 3years spent already in that department, I must confess that it is not worth it. Our mates doing computer with econs and with maths delve more into computer courses than we in engineering. Engineering as just been full of irrelevant courses in other engineering departments... |
