Sports / Re: Mikel & Ogude Are Suspended For The Ivory Coast Match? by integrityfood: 4:13pm On Feb 01, 2013
Though I respect Iverycoast alot. the truth is at the moment, the are a better side. We expected to see a bran new eagles at the nation cup but their last 3 group stage matches exposed them badly to our weakness in trusting their capability of putting up a good game against a better side. However, I remember back then in one of our qualifying game against Gabon. We could not score but they score against themselves in that match. I am preparing my mind for the worst outcome but still reserve a place of jubilation. But Nigeria is too big not have an organised team since US 94. Every coach keep lamenting that he is building a team ever year. Keshi laments the same. Nigeria, stealing in the glass house, name calling and lack of commitment from players.

I feel its time our national team has an historian who takes the player pass the memory lane. they need to know who is our ark rival, how it started, how many times they win us and how many times we won them. We need a psychologist in team too. The team must watch over 100 videos of our matches see all the error and decide on what poattern to play each team after watching their clips too.

Go super eagle, victory for now is 50/50. We are praying for you.

aquatic1: @excelsiorfarm, thanks for your post on this thread, but please, in all we do, let's not take ourselve up, it only God take gives one success without stress, so please any grudges u have with orweseta, please let it go, you are a gem, and am proud of you. @ayosat thanks for your post also. @wolexx and ab1x thanks for your post, I know you are all trying to make the fish farm industry successful. @integrityfarm I told you the solution to your farm when I came to your place, and if you don't take that as a piority, my brother, its up to you then oooo, but also smoking is a good biz you can consider. @orweseta thanks for voicing out you mind, pls forgive and forget anything excelsiorfarm said, we are all one.

Thanks alot. Like i explain to you, am still struggling to make up cash for the balance of the job. because of space n dranaige, i will love to consider re-circulatory. Excelsious says there is an alternative to re-circulatory - bio-filter. Am not very clear how it works. pls say something
Business / Re: Businesses That Will Give You A Meaningful Income Flow Continually by integrityfood: 10:39am On Jan 22, 2013
excelsiorfarm: i blieve there is nothing lacking in Nigeria, depending on capacity bought,i can say yes, even if not available d world is so small now because of technology that when u find a suitable one,it can be delivered to u,all d noise of recirculatory is to use d water over & over,go to

Pls complete your statement! it seems you were still talking ? Will bio-filter address the space and water economy provided by re-circulatory system?
Business / Re: ecobank by integrityfood: 5:03pm On Jan 21, 2013
Eco bank needs to act fast as many people and companies are complaining bitterly about their nonchalant attitude to customers and with this lack of business integrity, am so concern because i bank with them. I will henceforth be careful when dealing them

You need to konw that, open conversation has become the norm now at least till you get to a certain stage where you need a bit of confidentiality but let hear you out. Where is the land? who is the owner and what research have you done so far on the proposal?

excelsiorfarm: also sell your fishes to people or company that dry & package them for sale & u can start your brand,by drying & packaging of catfish in attractive packages for distribution to stores & supermarkets.Moreso Nigerians like class/taste,hence if your product is clean, well packaged & taste right, then u hav a market.About d stores,if u ever have a break i.e run out of stock, they will never do biz wit u again

My dear comrade, I need to start smoking of catfish immediately. Pls I have no single idea and connection. I need fresh fish to buy as my farm is not ready right now. how much is a kg of fish now? apart from firewood smoking, is there a better way else to dry/smoke the fish? is there a large consumer group/purchasers that buys dry fish as the market women buy the frsh ones? pls help out

excelsiorfarm: @Bigdreams, i thank God for the commendation and your recommendation, i will only advice us pls no matter the business or venture will choose to go into pls again, always get an experience hand, valid advise B4 we move in.i read a thread where someone said he had invested N2.5m with a target of raising 8000 fishes in his compound and his looking for partners, even if the money come in cheap, let us plan it well because with such investment, buying from the money and using durable mobile ponds, aerator, feeding well and alternative feeding etc would have raised 5500 fishes to not less than 1kg without soliciting for funds(i always dont want to creat too high expectation). if your fishes are big enough i.e 1.5kg and above,u will be heavily rewarded in cash.lets assume u sold it for N480 =N2.64M(you will definitely sell it more than that as long as they attain 1kg).All the best.Another word of advise learn to give your fishes anti-stress after sorting,it helps eliminate death etc.

yes i am the one that made that claim and its true. i need to clerify cetain things so people dont get misunderstood. The total money was shared. From it, I constructed what I will the farm house to accommodate my family as a way of proper management and security of the farm. The pond was also constructed from the N2.5. The fund needed is to commence operation as i ran out cash. if anyone is interested in so far as you are honest and your money is pure, i will welcome you as a partner.

@ Boris , we have been talking and am still expecting your response. For people to take you seriously, post here your business address, your business profile and terms of your lending.

Again, because of drainage and space economy, am interested in the re-circulatory pond system. Pls is there any farmer in the house using this re-circulatory system? I will love to visit you and see how it work and work out the modalities how you can install for me. What and what are required for re-circulatory pond system?

Agriculture / Re: Is Fish Farming As Lucrative As People Make It ? by integrityfood: 3:00pm On Jan 16, 2013
Mashkov: @ OP,
Fish Farming is lucrative, I can authoritatively tell you that and that is from experience. My advice is that you seek knowledge before going into it and most importantly, you must have PASSION for the business. Be aware that EVERY BUSINESS has got it's own downsides, so when you go into it and you see some setback, you will no be discouraged. I will summarize some key points for you, catfish farming's success depends largely on 4 cardinal parameters listed below,

1. The quality of the fish (Genetics)
2. The quality of the feeds
3. The quality of the water system
4. The structure of the pond system (space/depth)

FYI, if you start with Juveniles (I advise you do this), don't consider fingerlings or post-fingerlings. A juvenile will attain a 1kg (table size) weight in 4 months. The difference in the price of a juvenile and others is significant enough when compared to the cost you incur in rearing them for up to 6 month to attain market size.

Your major cost will be the cost of feeds. The best method is to start your fishes with foreign feeds for the first month of 6 weeks, after this, place your stock on local feeds. The formula and specification is not a difficult thing, that can always be provided if you want. I will not advice you start producing your feeds cos of the cost of setting up a fish feed mill (mini), when you scale up, producing your feed will make a whole lot of sense.

I can go on and on. If truly you have done a soul searching and decided this is what you want to do, I can always provide all the information you need and also expose you to practical experience if you so desire. We can both sit down and work out a detail feasibility/profitability projection based on the resource you have.

Regards,

I read your post and wish we can work together. Indeed, i want ot commence operation in Feb that is next month. because of the fear of practicing ignorant, am employing more than noe consultant to help me out with vital n best management practice till i sell my first stock. i am possitive that I will make it. i am in Lagos and my number is 08025669642 ot integrityfood@gmail.com.
